Chapter 5 - 5: Classroom Tension

Classroom Tension

The next morning, sunlight spilled through the classroom windows, casting long shadows across the desks. Niran sat quietly, his notebook open, but his mind was elsewhere. Every glance, every brush of Kai's gaze yesterday replayed in his head.

Kai entered with the same calm authority, eyes immediately locking on Niran. The way he looked at him made Niran's chest tighten, like the boy's stare could reach inside him and mark him completely.

Pim leaned casually across Niran's desk, smirking. "Morning, sleepyhead," she teased. Her hand brushed his shoulder lightly.

Niran's heart skipped. Kai's hand was already near, resting on the back of Niran's chair. Possessive. Protective. Claiming.

"You're mine," Kai murmured softly, almost inaudible, yet it echoed in Niran's mind.

Pim arched an eyebrow. "Your boyfriend doesn't like me touching you, huh?" she whispered.

Kai's lips curved into a slight, dangerous smile. "He's mine," he repeated, louder this time.

The small statement sent a thrill through Niran and froze Pim in place. She laughed lightly, hiding her frustration.

Across the room, Marco observed silently, his expression unreadable. Noah nudged Niran under the desk. "Careful," he whispered. "He's… intense."

"I know," Niran murmured back, fingers curling tightly around his pen.

Throughout the lesson, every movement Kai made, every subtle shift of his body, pressed against Niran's awareness. He could feel the possessiveness in the air, a tether between them that no one else could touch.

By the end of class, Niran's mind was tangled in confusion, desire, and fear. He knew one thing: Kai was relentless, and he didn't want to escape.

He didn't even try.
