Only using Susanoo would cause a significant drop in his ocular power.
However, both the Six Eyes and the Ten Shadows Technique required sufficient time to master. Currently, Uchiha Shao Yu was not yet proficient.
The Six Eyes required slow cultivation and adaptation, while the Ten Shadows Technique required Uchiha Shao Yu to subjugate the Shikigami one by one.
As for the first Shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique... was it the Divine Dogs?
The black and white pair of dogs had a keen sense of smell for tracking and devouring curses. After the white dog was destroyed, the black dog could inherit its power and evolve into Divine Dog: Totality.

As an elite who had trained Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu to the peak of Jonin level, Shao Yu needed no flashy tricks. Relying solely on his precise control of Chakra, he brought the second-tier Shikigami's sudden attack to a halt.
He tapped his finger lightly, and a wisp of highly condensed Chakra was injected into the black dog's brow like a fine needle. He didn't rely on any special Ninjutsu, but rather used pure Chakra suppression to forcibly rewrite its core consciousness.
The black dog whimpered and collapsed to the ground. The restless Chakra around it was forcibly smoothed out, and the ferocity in its eyes gradually faded during its struggle, replaced by submissive docility.

He watched the wind blow through the bamboo forest, and the Six Eyes automatically captured the trajectory of the airflow. He tried to let his body move along with the direction of the wind, and his footsteps actually became as light as a feather.
He observed the falling bamboo leaves, and the Six Eyes calculated their falling speed and angle. He reached out and accurately caught that green leaf which still carried morning dew.
The hardest part was controlling the flow of Chakra. The Six Eyes allowed him to see the path of every Chakra meridian in his body, but it also made him realize that his past use of Chakra was merely superficial.
When he first tried to activate his Chakra, the surging energy nearly burst through his palm and shattered the stone table in front of him.
He grit his teeth and, relying on the insight of the Six Eyes, guided the Chakra bit by bit to flow slowly along his meridians, like taming a wild horse.
He focused on the path of every wisp of Chakra, feeling them condense, flow, and dissipate at his fingertips. Gradually, those once out-of-control Chakras began to follow his commands, becoming docile under the gaze of the Six Eyes.
In the future, the consumption of using Ninjutsu would be infinitely reduced.
His endurance was greatly enhanced.
Uchiha Shao Yu discovered that both the Ten Shadows Technique and the Six Eyes were much more powerful than the related techniques in the original jujutsu kaisen.
Was it because of the change in worlds that the related techniques had also upgraded?
