But detecting the sound of a gun shooting at me through my bat auditory senses, I deployed it in full effect.

The bullet got eaten, but Nexis told me something pretty terrifying.

I will just eat everything, along with the assassin! I will just spit out my underlings later! And this will also protect them from harm!
Before my underlings could even react, I had consumed the entirety of Navark, including them.

I also activated Plant Whisperer to find any suspicious activity.

So the assassin managed to teleport away before I activated Beelzebub barrier over Navark? Since even space magic would have gotten consumed and noticed.
This assassin... It's clearly someone at the very least on par with an awakened Demon Lord, possessing atleast an Ultimate Skill.
Could it be someone from Yuuki's side? Or did Sarion discover that I killed Eren?
Who the hell dared to even try to assassinate me!?
First that spirit thing that was supposed to come for Chloe, and now this...
