Chapter 7: The Array of Fire & The Wife's Shock
Golden Dragon Pavilion. Jiang Yi's Private Courtyard.
The sun had dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of bruised purple and dying amber.
The air outside was quiet, but inside the master's chambers, the atmosphere was thick enough to suffocate.
Jiang Yi engaged the heavy iron bolts on the door. He placed the Cloud Crane Cauldron in the center of the room.
Scattered around him were piles of "trash" herbs—Low-Grade Spirit Grass, shriveled Star Flowers, and discard roots.
To the Liu Clan, these were the dregs left behind after they had monopolized the market.
To any other alchemist, they were useless weeds.
"To a common alchemist, this is a landfill," Jiang Yi muttered, his golden eyes igniting with an internal radiance.
"But to a master... this is the foundation of an empire."
He didn't bother with a mundane fire. Instead, he raised both hands, his fingers dancing in the air.
[Divine Sense: Array Deployment.]
Whoosh!
Ten streaks of intense crimson light shot from his fingertips.
They didn't hit the cauldron; they embedded themselves into the stone floor, the walls, and the ceiling beams.
[Scarlet Flame Rune: Overclock Mode.]
HUMMM.
The room began to vibrate. Complex, glowing fiery patterns ignited on every surface, turning the entire chamber into a massive, three-dimensional furnace.
The air shimmered with an oppressive heat, yet, held by the iron grip of Jiang Yi's mind, the furniture didn't singe.
It was a display of thermal control that would have made Grandmaster Gu weep.
"Rise."
Jiang Yi flicked his wrist. The lid of the cauldron flew into the air.
Hundreds of herbs rose from the floor, caught in a telekinetic gale. They swirled like a green tornado before plunging into the bronze belly of the vessel.
"Refine!"
BOOM!
The runes on the walls flared with blinding intensity. Beams of concentrated fire shot toward the cauldron from every angle.
It wasn't the smoky, uneven heat of charcoal; it was a surgical bombardment of spiritual flame.
Inside the cauldron, impurities were vaporized instantly—turned to ash and expelled as a thick, white mist.
Hiss...
The steam rolled through the room, smelling not of smoke, but of fresh rain and intoxicating nectar.
[System Notification: Impurities Removed (100%).]
[Pill Grade: Perfect (Transcendent).]
[Production Speed: 50x Normal.]
Jiang Yi stood in the center of the inferno, his white robes billowing in the thermal updraft.
He looked less like a husband and more like a primordial god conducting a symphony of flame.
One Hour Later.
The courtyard gate creaked.
Su Ruoyan walked in, her shoulders slumped under the weight of a long, miserable day.
The Liu Clan's blockade was tightening, and the family Elders had spent the afternoon barking for her to "fix" the problem.
"Husband?"
She blinked, coughing as she stepped into a room filled with sweet-smelling steam.
"Why is it so hot?
Did you—"
She froze. The words died in her throat.
She saw Jiang Yi leaning casually against the bronze cauldron, his arms crossed and a predatory smirk on his handsome face.
But it was what was around him that stopped her heart.
Floating in a slow, mesmerizing vortex were pills. Not ten. Not fifty.
Hundreds.
Five hundred crystal-clear, ruby-red orbs hovered in the air, chiming softly as they bumped into one another.
They glowed with an internal, rhythmic light.
"This..." Ruoyan's ledger slipped from her fingers, clattering to the floor.
"What is this?
Are these... Spirit Gathering Pills?"
She reached out, plucking one from the air. It was warm to the touch, perfectly spherical, and translucent like a polished ruby.
"Perfect Grade..."
she whispered, her merchant instincts screaming in disbelief.
"Zero impurities. 100% medicinal potency. Jiang Yi... where did you get these? Did you rob the Royal Treasury's secret vault?"
"Rob?"
Jiang Yi chuckled. He walked over, his stride confident and hungry.
He reached out and wiped a smudge of soot from her cheek.
"I made them.
For you."
"You?" Ruoyan's chest heaved beneath her silk dress.
"In an hour?
Our finest alchemists take a week to produce a batch of twenty High-Grade pills! You made five hundred Perfect ones?"
"I told you, Ruoyan," Jiang Yi said, wrapping a firm arm around her waist and pulling her flush against his hard, heat-radiating chest.
"I am a diamond. And diamonds are forged in heat."
He picked up a pill and held it to her lips.
"Eat. Taste the future."
Ruoyan opened her mouth instinctively. The pill dissolved into a liquid fire.
Whoosh.
A violent, warm current surged through her meridians.
Her exhaustion vanished. Her stagnant Spirit Core cultivation suddenly throbbed, the bottleneck she had struggled with for months cracking like thin ice.
"Oh!"
Ruoyan moaned, her legs turning to jelly. "The energy... it's so pure. It's... it's intoxicating."
She looked up at him, the stress in her eyes replaced by absolute awe...
and a burning, primal desire.
He was no longer just the man she was protecting; he was the man who was going to conquer the world for her.
"With these," Ruoyan whispered, clutching his lapels, her eyes misting over.
"We won't just survive the blockade. We'll bankrupt the Liu Clan. We will own this city."
"Exactly," Jiang Yi growled, his golden eyes darkening.
"But making a fortune is exhausting work. Don't you think the Grandmaster deserves a reward?"
Ruoyan bit her lip, the heat of the room and the heat of his Primal Chaos Yang body calling to her blood.
"The servants... they're just outside the courtyard..."
"Let them listen. Let them know who their master is."
Jiang Yi swept his arm across the nearby table, sending empty herb baskets and jars crashing to the floor.
He lifted Ruoyan effortlessly and sat her on the edge.
"You look beautiful when you're counting gold," Jiang Yi murmured, his hands sliding up her thighs and hiking her silk dress to her waist.
"But you look even better when you're begging me to fill you."
"Husband..." Ruoyan's breath hitched.
She wrapped her long legs around his waist, pulling him into the junction of her thighs.
"I am yours.
Take everything."
Jiang Yi didn't waste another second.
He positioned himself and thrust deep, his thick, throbbing 9 inch big monstrous dick burying itself into her wet pussy, welcoming heat.
"AH!"
Ruoyan's head snapped back, her eyes rolling. The room was still scorching from the alchemy fire, but their bodies were adding to the blaze.
"So deep..." Ruoyan gasped, her nails digging into the muscles of his back.
"You're hitting my Womb!"
"I'm filling you with my mark," Jiang Yi growled, his hips slamming against hers with a relentless, rhythmic pace.
Slap. Slap. Slap.
The sound of their frantic union filled the chamber, punctuated by the soft, musical chiming of the floating ruby pills.
"More! Harder!"
Ruoyan's icy shell was gone, replaced by a woman desperate for her husband's fire.
"Fill me! Give me your seed! I want to carry your child make me pregnant with filthy intoxicating sperms!"
Jiang Yi gripped her hips, the golden veins on his arms pulsating as he pounded into her.
[System Notification: Dual Cultivation Active.]
[Yang Energy transferring to Womb...]
[Fertility Rate: Critical High.]
"I'm close! Jiang Yi, I'm—!" Ruoyan screamed, her body convulsing in a violent, torrent of orgasm.
Jiang Yi groaned, his own limit shattered.
He slammed into her one last time, pinning her to the table as he released a torrent of hot, filthy load of Cum deep into her womb.
Ruoyan collapsed against him, her breath coming in ragged sobs of pleasure.
She felt the hot, thick white seed dripping from her pussy as she clung to him,
completely conquered.
For a long moment, they stayed like that, two gods of fire surrounded by five hundred floating rubies.
"Tomorrow," Jiang Yi whispered, kissing her damp, flushed forehead.
"We open the auction. And we watch the Liu Clan burn."
Ruoyan looked up, her eyes full of worship.
