Chapter 2 - Trying to survive

As I got up from where I had been lying, hunger struck me all at once. My stomach growled violently like a Fake engine of a Mercedes revving at full throttle. I turned toward the cabin right behind me.

I headed inside, hoping to find something to eat.

When I stepped in, I discovered a tiny space. A few jars filled with strange things were scattered around, and just looking at them made me feel deeply uneasy.

I searched everywhere but found nothing edible. As I turned to leave the cabin, I noticed a small piece of paper at the very back. I approached it cautiously and grabbed a small stick from the ground to knock it down. When nothing happened, I picked it up immediately and tried to read what was written on it.

After reading it, I gave a faint smile and shook my head. I felt utterly pathetic at that moment there was absolutely nothing written on it. "I should've known… judging by how well-preserved it was," I muttered with a heavy sigh, and instinctively tossed the paper outside.

But I couldn't take my eyes off it. At that exact moment, I noticed faint letters appearing.

"Hmmm," I murmured.

I hurried to pick it up, but a violent gust of wind snatched it away. The cabin was built halfway up a small hill overlooking the forest, and the wind carried the paper down the slope.

I ran after it but the problem was, I wasn't watching where I stepped.

There I was, arm stretched forward, trying to catch the flying sheet of paper. I couldn't let it escape. It might contain a rare skill… maybe even a hypnosis weapon. Just imagining it made me drool.

In one last desperate effort, I managed to grab the paper and at the same time, I slipped, tumbling down from the hill into the depths of the forest.

I struggled to get back on my feet. My body felt like it could give out at any second, but with a final burst of effort, I somehow stood up.

The paper in my hand was slightly crumpled, but intact. I smiled, carefully smoothing it out, then held it up to the sunlight.

A short message was written on it:

"Take good care of your dick, my boy."

I straightened the paper calmly and lifted my eyes toward the clear blue sky. All the suffering I had endured to catch that stupid thing hit me at once. I swear, I almost cried right then and there but I was so hungry I didn't even have the strength to make a sound, let alone shed a tear.

With remarkable composure, I grabbed the paper and a sharp stick and pinned it to a tree.

Guys, have you ever wondered what it feels like to experience hunger, frustration, and disappointment all at the same time? At that moment, I felt like a ghost watching his wife remarry after she once swore she couldn't live without him.

As I walked aimlessly through the forest, a message suddenly appeared before me:

[Mission received: Survive in the forest for 24 hours. Failure: Pathetic death. Success: +2 Endurance, +60 XP]

I didn't even have the mental capacity to think clearly, so I ignored it and kept walking.

Then suddenly like fate itself intervening a fluffy white rabbit appeared in front of me. Yes. A real, living rabbit. Already fluffy.

I couldn't take my eyes off that little marvel of nature. The rabbit was beautiful. I let out a deep sigh of relief while the small creature stared back at me.

"Ah… meat," I whispered.

I have no idea what kind of expression I was making, but the rabbit instinctively bolted in the opposite direction.

Of course, I couldn't let it escape. That was simply not an option.

Guys, I've never done sports in my entire life but at that precise moment, my legs moved on their own at insane speed. Even though the rabbit kept changing direction, I chased it like a starving beast. I fell for its feints several times, but I got up immediately every single time.

As the chase dragged on, I finally had it right in front of me.

"I've got you, bitch," I muttered.

But as if I were cursed, the rabbit suddenly stopped and in my forward momentum, I tripped, allowing it to escape once more.

As I watched my meat disappear into the distance, all the fatigue I had been ignoring slammed into me at once. I couldn't feel my legs. My lungs burned. My vision blurred. Yet my eyes remained locked on the rabbit.

Suddenly...

An arrow pierced through the animal's skull.

I had no strength left. My legs gave out, and I was about to pass out when I heard a soft yet arrogant voice echo through the woods:

"A man who can't even catch a rabbit… tsk. Men have become so pathetic."

I lost consciousness before hearing anything else.

---

"Darling, me too!" "No, darling, me first!"

I found myself in a pool, surrounded by several women. They were touching me everywhere, and I stood in the middle with both arms wrapped around one of them.

"Master, kiss me," a very beautiful woman asked.

I immediately complied, kissing her passionately.

But she suddenly pulled away and slapped me hard across the face.

I tried to understand why and she slapped me again. And again. And a fourth time, even harder.

Then I woke up.

"A dream?" I muttered.

I tried to wipe my eyes, but my hands felt heavy. I was soaked. I looked down and realized my hands were tied. I was naked except for my underwear, sitting on a chair.

Then someone spoke.

"You're awake."

It was a beautiful voice.

A woman stepped in front of me. She wore the expression of a sadistic lunatic but I had to admit, she was stunning. She looked to be in her thirties.

"You're kinda cute when your eyes are wide open," she said, slowly licking her upper lip.

Yeah. It was damn sexy.

"Who are you? And where am I?" I asked, trying to remain as calm as possible.

"Do you really need to know?" she replied, pulling out something that looked like a whip.

Yes. A whip.

You can guess what that meant.

She approached me and gently touched my head. Her hands were soft.

"I've never seen you around here, little one. Tell me where you're from, and I'll be gentle," she said with a hungry expression that wasn't entirely unpleasant but I was afraid of getting whipped. In this world, I had to maintain at least a shred of dignity.

So I told her the truth.

Well… not the truth you're thinking of.

She stared at me sharply, standing way too close. I could clearly see her breasts they were beautiful. It was the first time I had seen a pair up close, and I was genuinely happy about that.

"I don't believe you," she said, stepping back slightly.

"I'm just telling you the truth."

At that moment, I was incredibly turned on but I forced myself to stay calm. Maybe if I did, she would let me go. And let's not forget I was still starving.

"Oh? You're a man, and you still have some arrogance left. I like that."

She extended her whip.

"I'll teach you some manners, cutie," she said, ready to strike me. I was about to beg her not to when suddenly another woman entered the room.

She was much younger around my age.

"That's enough, Aunt. I'm the one who found him."

She walked in with authority and impressive composure.

"…So I'm the one who gets to question him," she continued, staring intensely at the woman she called Aunt.

The older woman clicked her tongue.

"You're no fun," she said before leaving, throwing me a strange look.

Good riddance, you crazy woman, I thought.

I turned toward my savior. She untied me and handed me back the clothes I had been wearing earlier.

"Sit," she said, pulling up a chair herself.

"I was by the door when I heard you say you came from the cabin up there… is that true?"

I nodded.

"Yes."

She added nothing. Absolutely nothing. Then she stood up.

"Follow me."

I followed her of course remaining extremely cautious ever since that cursed crack dragged me into this world.

I was walking toward the door when suddenly:

[Side Mission Modified: Subdue the Dominant Aunt. Time Limit: 3 Days. Reward: ??]

I froze, eyes wide.

Inside my head, I screamed in rage:

"What kind of garbage system is running this mess?!"
