Next Day;
Adam came to visit them, or rather, take them.
While father and son were discussing the price of their house and property, they received a new text telling them to pack up.
So, the family of three packed their bags last night before they went to bed.
"Does it have to be so urgent?" Mark asked while standing next to Adam. His bags were being put in a truck by two of Adam's bodyguards.
Adam looked at him and said.
"Didn't you check Level 2 information from yesterday?"
"I didn't get the chance. I had to pack."
Mark rolled his eyes.
"Immortality! How much do you know about this subject?" Adam asked as they walked towards the truck.
"Never aging, never dying, regeneration?" Mark answered with some hesitation.
Adam shook his head and replied.
"Its lifespan. Awakeners have a unique opportunity to become immortal. This is not true immortality, but having thousands of years of lifespan is almost no different from immortality."
"But how?" Mark asked with a stunned look on his face.
He never thought his superpowers could make him immortal.
"When you arrive on Astral World, you will understand."
Adam replied before walking towards Johnson. Then, he gave Johnson a new phone with a SIM card and a new ID Card.
He also prepared one for Daisy and Mark. There was a difference, though. Mark's card was black while their card was white.
"Because of Mark's status as a Natural Awakener, he is given a permanent residency in the Astral World."
"But for now, you two only have temporary residency. Once Mark completes his test, you will get a permanent residency card."
"Why is that?"
Mark asked with some confusion.
As they were heading towards an airport in this truck, Mark was getting more curious about the Astral World.
"First of all, you should know the status of Natural Awakener in the Astral World, right?"
Mark nodded, and Adam continued.
"Because of this, they often get more advantage than an artificial awakener."
"But if the natural awakener can't even outperform an artificial awakener, wouldn't that waste the resources poured on him?"
Mark was hit with the realization.
"Your ability is Telekinesis. There is a high chance that you will not receive much attention from the higher-ups."
"Why?" Mark asked. Because in his eyes, telekinesis was probably one of the most powerful abilities in the world.
"Because every Astral Awakener can use the basic telekinesis." Adam answered.
Mark narrowed his eyes and asked.
"So, if I want to receive more rewards, I have to perform exceptionally well."
Adam nodded.
"The only advantage you have right now is your status as a Natural Awakener and their unique advantage."
"This advantage is something you will find once you arrive in the Astral World."
Mark clenched his fist and said.
"It doesn't matter. I know how powerful my telekinesis is, and I will prove it to them."
Certainly, Adam also knew a little bit more about his telekinesis. After all, he had watching over Mark for fifteen years.
Unlike most basic telekinesis, Mark could control particles of sand. That level of precision was so great that Mark did have a chance to get a high score.
That's why Adam did everything in a hurry.
He just wanted to pull Mark into the Astral World as quickly as possible.
For every recruitment, Adam would get a hefty reward based on their performance during the test.
Considering Mark's powerful telekinesis, he believed he would receive a huge reward.
Soon, they arrived at the airport.
Surprisingly, there were only ten passengers in a large plane like that. But considering how big their cargo was, it made sense.
Mark found two more families that were going together with him. It seemed like they also had awakeners like him.
One of the family had two children, and both of them were quite young. One girl and one boy, around the age of five or six.
While the other had only one, but she was in her early teens.
Among them, only Mark was an adult. Surprisingly, all three of them had a chip on their forehead.
Seeing this, Mark turned towards Adam and asked.
"What are those?"
"Power Dampers! Kids can't use their powers effectively, and we are on a plane. Without those, we will be at all-time risk."
Adam replied.
Mark nodded with a look of understanding. He saw the early teen girl running towards him.
"Big Brother, are you also an awakener like me?" She immediately sat next to him and asked.
Daisy was ready to sit next to her son, but seeing this, she chose another seat.
"Sorry about that! Anya is quite nervous about her superpowers. By the way, my name is Perona." A middle-aged woman pulled Daisy next to her and apologized.
"It's okay. My name is Daisy. That's my son Mark, and this is my husband Johnson. Did she just awaken her ability?" Daisy asked.
Perona was a slightly chubby woman with a dimple on her right cheek that was inherited by her daughter.
Her daughter's hair was purple while both of her parents had black hair.
Perona nodded and said.
"She just awakened two days ago. Even her hair turned purple because of that. I was quite worried about her awakening."
"She almost fried our electrical appliance just after awakening. If Mr. Adam hadn't come to us and suppressed her power, it would've caused quite a lot of ruckus."
"What about your son? Did his awakening cause any problems?"
Daisy shook her head and said.
"He awakened his powers when he was only three. He did cause some problems because of his attitude, but he slowly learned to control his power."
"Three years old? You mean he had powers for fifteen years? Then, why didn't they come for him?"
Another woman who was holding a five-year-old boy shouted.
She seemed a bit resentful about leaving her world and her previous life. Now listening to Daisy, her resentment got even stronger.
Daisy answered.
"Because Mark's ability is just basic telekinesis. His ability didn't cause much trouble, and he barely used them."
"Because of this, Mr Adam just let him live on Earth for fifteen years. If not for the rules, he wouldn't have come forward at all."
Hearing that, Perona showed a look of understanding.
"Yeah! Every natural awakener must leave Earth after turning eighteen. But until that age, they are allowed to live on Earth as long as they don't cause any trouble."
She looked at the blonde-haired woman holding her son and her husband holding their daughter.
"Did they awaken unconventional powers?"
The blond woman looked resentful, but she still replied.
"Yeah! Sam awakened a pair of white wings while Sera awakened strange eyes."
"That's not so bad. According to Mr. Adam, our living conditions will be based on our children's powers."
"Unless my son performs exceptionally well with his telekinesis, he won't receive good rewards because of how common telekinesis is."
Daisy consoled her, even going as far as using her son as an example.
She knew Mark would perform better, but for now, she just wanted to make this woman feel better.
After all, she had gone through many difficult moments after her son awakened his powers.
One time, he almost broke Johnson's leg. While they were talking, the plane finally took off and stabilized in the air.
"Big Brother, can you show me your powers?" After it stabilized itself, Anya couldn't help but get excited.
She immediately asked him about his powers.
Mark smiled and shook his head.
"We are in a plane. I can't use my powers here."
"Aw!"
Her ears dropped like a puppy.
"I will show you after we land."
Seeing her expressions, Mark replied.
"Really?"
Her ears rose. If she had a tail, it would have been wagging.
"Anya, why don't you introduce yourself?"
Mark, becoming curious about the little girl, asked.
"Introduce? My name is Anya." Anya replied.
"I know that. Let me give you an example. My name is Mark Kent. I am eighteen years old. My power is telekinesis."
"I like exploring the unknown. I hate a boring life. My dream is to explore the full extent of my powers."
As he gave his introduction, he looked at Anya with a smile.
Anya showed a serious look that looked absolutely cute as she continued.
"My name is Anya West. I am thirteen years old. My power is lightning. I love eating cake. I hate peppers. I want to become a powerful Astral Warrior."
When she said that, she puffed out her cheeks, showing a serious look.
Hearing her introduction, Mark got curious and turned towards Adam, asking.
"What about you?"
"Seriously?" Adam rolled his eyes, but seeing their excited looks, he had no choice but introduce himself.
"My name is Adam Chole. I am thirty-two. I am an artificial awakener, so I don't have any superpowers."
"I have many likes and few dislikes. My dream is to become the first Artificial Awakener War Grandmaster."
