The Aeldari imprisoning a Great Unclean One of Nurgle? Who could even dream of such a thing.
Not even Slaanesh would dare to have a dream like that.
Yet, the Great Unclean One was indeed briefly confined by this psychic cage. His bloated body slammed into the psychic barrier, but surprisingly, he failed to break through it in a single strike.
"Ah, you think you can catch me? Little bug!"
"Yes, I believe I have already caught you."
The Queen of Blades' psychic power was several times greater than that of the Great Unclean One. This level of psychic suppression made it absolutely impossible for the Great Unclean One to break through her restraints in a short period of time.
However, it was difficult to completely bind a Great Unclean One. Unlike the Greater Daemons of Slaanesh and Tzeentch, the Great Unclean One's regenerative capabilities rendered many of the Swarm's current methods of restraint ineffective against him.
He could ignore spikes and toxins, and the kinetic energy from his massive physique allowed him to clash head-on with Ultralisks. On top of that, he possessed the ability to rot flesh.
A Leviathan would find it very difficult to lock him down, but the Overmind was already well-prepared.
By using the wraithbone architecture of the Aeldari to construct a cage, and using controlled Aeldari to serve as batteries, they formed a psychic cage capable of trapping a Greater Daemon.
Now, all that was left to do was...
Teleport him over.
The Queen of Blades let out a sharp cry. Teleporting a psyker of a Great Unclean One's caliber was somewhat straining even for her, but the Overmind gave her an unseen push through their psychic link, allowing her psychic teleportation to succeed.
The Great Unclean One was teleported into the interior of the Leviathan. When he saw the Aeldari wraithbone architecture, he looked visibly astonished.
And when he saw the hollow-eyed Aeldari—including an Aeldari Farseer who was continuously channeling psychic power into the wraithbone—the Great Unclean One knew he was in deep trouble.
Sure enough, the moment he touched the wraithbone structure, the power radiating from it caused even a Greater Daemon like him to feel immense pain.
To make matters more ironic, the higher the concentration of the Warp, the stronger a Greater Daemon of Nurgle becomes, but the stronger the psychic power of the Aeldari becomes as well.
"No!"
The Great Unclean One attempted to break through by brute force, but he quickly discovered that these bugs were not only feeding the Aeldari some unknown purple liquid, but they also had even more Aeldari lined up as backup batteries.
As a Great Unclean One of Nurgle, he was thoroughly disgusted.
"You filthy bugs, who do you think you are imprisoning?!"
The Great Unclean One's bluster stood in stark, ironic contrast to the reality of his confinement. He couldn't escape. No matter how furiously or passionately he ranted, it couldn't change that fact.
"There is still one left. How is your condition, my daughter?"
"I will bring you victory, Overmind." Although the Queen of Blades was somewhat fatigued, she remained powerful.
The Overmind deeply appreciated this. Next, there was only a Bloodthirster of Khorne left. This Bloodthirster was still fully immersed in the sheer thrill of battle, surrounded by countless swarms of bugs.
Yet, he always managed to hack his way out of those low-tier Zerg units, almost as if... the Overmind was intentionally letting him slaughter them.
"More! More!"
The Bloodthirster's desire to harvest lives could never be sated. He had already fallen into a battle frenzy, completely incapable of rational thought.
This was precisely the bait the Overmind had tailored for him. Now that the big fish had taken the hook, it was time to reel in the net.
The Bloodthirster was completely lost in his bloodlust and failed to notice the specialized units beginning to populate the Swarm. Infestors and Vipers deployed together. The Bloodthirster possessed stats second only to the Great Unclean One, so assistance from Infestors was required.
These massive biological factories crawled forward rapidly, launching Fungal Growth at the Bloodthirster and his cohort of Khornate daemons. The effects of Fungal Growth were as potent as ever, completely coating the Bloodthirster's body within a dozen seconds.
The Bloodthirster could initially still struggle a bit, but before even half a minute had passed, he and the other Khornate daemons were pinned firmly in place by the Fungal Growth, unable to move a single inch.
The Vipers immediately went to work. Their tentacles shot out, piercing the Bloodthirster's skin to inject massive quantities of toxins.
A single milliliter of this toxin could easily kill a human, but even with continuous injections, it was barely enough to suppress the Bloodthirster's movements. After over a dozen seconds of continuous injection, the Bloodthirster still hadn't lost consciousness.
"The toxin resistance of these Chaos Daemons is just ridiculous."
Leaving the Great Unclean One aside, the resistance of the Slaaneshi and Khornate Greater Daemons was also incredibly high, though fortunately not to an uncontrollable degree.
A few minutes later, the Bloodthirster finally passed out.
"Phew, it's done."
With this, all four Greater Daemons of the Chaos Gods had been captured by the Overmind. Unexpectedly, the hardest one to catch turned out to be the slowest-moving Great Unclean One; the other three Greater Daemons could be controlled using just Vipers.
The news of the four Greater Daemons being captured quickly spread among the surviving daemons. These "Four Unlucky Bastards" became the laughingstock of the Greater Daemon community, while the Overmind could finally use daemons to research the Warp.
Among them, the Lord of Change from Tzeentch received special treatment from the Overmind. The Queen of Blades, together with Abathur, dissected and analyzed the Lord of Change's brain, extracting a fair amount of intelligence.
Among the information, the data regarding humanity was the most important.
Although even the Lord of Change didn't know the exact difference between those humans and other humans, he knew that this particular human faction, calling itself the "Terran Confederacy," had appeared during the M33 era.
The moment this faction appeared, it expanded at an extremely rapid pace. They mined resources, produced troops, and colonized surrounding star systems and sectors.
Their organization was unified and stable, entirely different from a typical Imperial colony. Relying on a massive number of mechanized forces, they had engaged multiple xenos forces without ever falling into a disadvantage.
This included, but was not limited to, the Green-skinned Orks, the Aeldari, the Necrons, and traitor fleets of the Imperium of Man.
Daemons had also begun taking action against this faction at that point in time. They corrupted a portion of the population, but the ruler of that faction acted with equal decisiveness. He would either abandon the heavily corrupted subjects and nuke them directly, or deploy troops to suppress them and forcefully purge the Chaos corruption.
"As expected, the troops of a human transmigrator aren't loyalty-locked. They can still be corrupted by Chaos."
This wasn't surprising. The Protoss had the Khala, the Zerg had the Hive Mind, but what did the Terrans have?
"But bro is seriously ruthless. He isn't running a Mengsk template, is he?"
With this style of doing things, it was no wonder the native Warhammer races couldn't tell them apart. If a transmigrator took a sudden look, it really didn't seem any different from the local Imperium of Man.
During this period, the daemons discovered that this human faction possessed many "toys" that the Imperium of Man lacked. They found that Psi Emitters generated a sort of attraction for the Zerg within the Warp, and they also discovered mechanical devices capable of controlling Zerg swarm units.
Furthermore, from the mouths of the corrupted humans, they learned a specific title.
[The Emperor]
"Wait a minute..."
The Overmind deliberately double-checked to make sure its eyes weren't playing tricks.
That human transmigrator seriously calls himself the Emperor? Though that term could also be translated as Kaiser or Imperator, still...
What kind of Second Empire—ah, wait, the Second Empire is already taken.
What kind of Terran Third Empire is this?!!!
