Chapter 2 - Chapter 2- The Apocalypse

The Breach

The sky snaps open.

Shadow beasts. Dozens. Crawling like ink dropped into water.

Lucius Valeris stopped mid-stride, head tilting upward.

Beside him, Michael Aetheron froze, breath sharp.

From the tear fell shapes—twisted silhouettes, wings made of shadow, bodies warped like nightmares.

Infernal beasts. Hundreds. Thousands. Crawling like ink dropped into water.

Lucius - " We need to move now , they are coming towards us ... towards city". " but what are those things , Lucius " " The.. Devils .. If the stories are real , they've returned"

Lucius and Michael ,both , heavily sprint towards city . The beast arrives towards a part of city known as Valoria. They strike the buildings and towers and structures, whatever in their way..

A tower collapsed behind them as a winged brute crashed into it. The ground shuddered. Beasts tore through stone and flesh alike—massive fanged hounds, humanoids with taloned limbs, winged fiends raining fire.

Streets once filled with merchants now filled with shrieks and blood . Valoria was already dying. Dozens of civilians dead . Maybe I would say INNOCENT civilians

Even the fleeing was pointless-- A giant humanoid beast catching up to both of them and leaps on them as seems as it wanna crush under its body. But--

A thunderous boom silenced the battlefield.

From the royal battlements descended a man in black-and-silver mantle,

hair white as frost, eyes burning crimson—

Grand Sorcerer Nero Halbrecht,

the one of powerful Akari Seraphel had in a while.

Nero: "Form ranks! Protect the civilians!

Soldiers of Valoria—WITH ME!" . He lifted his hands-

A shockwave of silver flames burst outward, incinerating a swarm of devils in one motion.

The ground itself trembled from the spell's weight.

Legions of armoured knights surged forward behind him.

The city fought back. Lucius and Michael watched in stunned awe.

They didn't knew Akari Level 1 are that powerful. They both ran into inner city while the army took control of the apocalypse.

" I told you I had been feeling weird since i rested upon top hill" " Never mind, Lucius , we are safe here, as long as akaris are here we are gonna be safe" Lucius- " What about our parents, they -"

As he was going to continue - a abrupt explosion echoed through the humanity- Lucius quickly ran towards a broken tower and climbs to get to enough height.

As the flames engulfed the village, Lucius's eyes widened in horror, his mind numb with the devastating scene unfolding before him. He felt as though he was frozen in time, unable to move or look away from the inferno that was consuming his home, his family, and everything he had ever known. The sound of crackling flames, shattering wood, and screams of those fleeing for their lives filled the air, a haunting melody that would forever be etched in his memory...

The figure of his mother, her long, curly hair ablaze, her arms outstretched in a desperate attempt to reach his father, who lay motionless on the ground, was seared into Lucius's vision. His father, the strong and brave warrior who had always protected him, was now lying helpless, unable to escape the raging fire. The image of his parents, consumed by the flames, would haunt Lucius for the rest of his days.

Two glowing eyes opened.

Something ancient. Something waiting.

Something hungry for survival.

This was only the beginning.
