A duo of screams ran itself throughout the interior of the hospital room. The origin of it? Well, the most obvious cause was the small child that was being pushed out of a woman. It appeared that both child and mother were screaming, as the woman experienced an excruciating pain whilst the infant was being pushed toward the world. His cries originating from the sudden sensation of air. A new sensation.

A rather thick bundle of hair upon the small child's hair. Black, blacker than the dark sky above them, yet it was still as gorgeous as one could be. Promptly, the child was raised upward and given to the mother by one of the nearby doctors. Both were perfectly healthy. Beyond healthy in fact!

"You.. You'll be Megumi." The soft eyes of a mother gazed upon the child, the one now known as Megumi, as he was the final blessing of a deceased father. What a fitting name. Doctors continued monitoring the woman's vital signs, but it seemed there wasn't going to be any issue. For now, they allowed the child to grasp his mother's skin and cuddle against her.

A small smile graced a nurse's face at the sight. Such a perfect family. Of course, it did seem odd that the father wasn't there considering a wedding ring still hung on the woman's hand.

A golden glow suddenly shone above the child's head, the mother being oblivious to it. Then, Megumi was stripped away from his mother's grasp.

"Mrs. Fushiguro, please do not worry about your child. We just need to.... keep him for a longer period of time." The Chief of Pediatrics attempted to smile at the woman in a calming fashion, although it wasn't easy to calm down a brand new mother.

"That's... fine, is everything alright with him?! Please tell me?!" At the moment, she hadn't been told the exact reasoning, as it'd been a flurry of movements between the room. "Please.. I can't lose him too."

A sharp cough came from the professional, before he smiled without a worry. "There isn't a thing for you to worry about. I apologize for not explaining sooner, but it appears your son was born.. with his quirk activiated. It's procedure to secure the child in a safe room for a period, since we're unsure of the quirk's function." A few short nods came from the man with clear confidence.

"Although it likely won't be long until we can clear your child, since it doesn't appear to be anything dangerous." Looking at Aoi, the woman across from him, the older doctor gave a reassuring nod. "We'll take care of your son." After those words, he left with heavy steps.

Could she trust them? Could Aoi trust any other with her child? The only one that would be with her whether in that moment or the future? No, never. There wasn't a single moment that the mother trusted any with her child. Wasn't it natural?

As of now - she laid in worry. Unable to move from her position with the exhaustion of birthing a child.

Then, her eyes snapped open at the sight of her child being brought into the room. Arms stretching out for the child that was placed into her arms. Tears wept. The child pressed against her chest for a second time.

Yet, they did not hit the child. Instead, they had made contact with a golden wheel floating above his head.

A/N - Sorry for the short (but stretched out) first chapter! I'll probably be reviewing this and revising a bit, but I hope to hear from anyone that reads this!
