Chapter 3: First Time at Fairy Tail

Besides Giant Magic, light magic was also one of his specialties. His grandson Laxus specialized in lightning, and he wanted to pass down light magic as well.

"Over there! The explosion happened over there! There was golden light! It must be mages fighting."
"Surround the whole area!"
Makarov's face changed drastically: "Oh no! The Magic Council! Hurry…"
Before he could finish saying "run," he saw Kaito turn into golden light and disappear, leaving the poor old man behind.
Makarov was stunned and grumbled: "So fast!!"

Contrary to Kaito's expectations, the train ride from Hargeon to Magnolia took only about three hours.
When Kaito arrived in front of the Fairy Tail guild building, he felt like he was dreaming.
Makarov stood in front of him, arms spread wide, looking extremely proud: "Little brat, welcome to Fairy Tail!"
Soon, under Makarov's lead, Kaito walked into the Fairy Tail guild.
"Welcome back, Guild Master!"
"Guild Master! Welcome back!"
As soon as they entered, everyone greeted Makarov. Kaito carefully observed the surroundings.
"Guild Master, where did you pick up another kid? Our guild is turning into a kindergarten." A man in a white coat with blue trim, hair neatly combed but overall looking sloppy, said to Makarov.
"That's right! Macao is correct! Guild Master, if I go out on jobs my colleagues will laugh at me." Sitting beside Macao, a man with a pompadour hairstyle, green T-shirt, and holding a pipe—Wakaba—also spoke up.
Makarov replied irritably: "Then go out and work! You're even worse than children."
Kaito acted like he didn't hear. Well, he didn't consider himself a child anyway. Looking around, there really were many kids. He could vaguely recognize familiar faces among them.
That pink-haired kid seemed to be Natsu, the protagonist of Fairy Tail anime. And that girl in armor with striking red hair should be Erza.
Huh… so he had crossed over before the Fairy Tail story even began.
