After admiring the mansion Alex suddenly notice that it seemed like there was a function held and the way he was dressed white suit matching his white hair and Brown fair light skin with greenish eyes, tall slander figure, beauty indeed.He didn't even notice how Mrs Brown wear such an elegant silc Black dress, and she was beautiful white lady, that the other thing everybody in this family was white except for his dad, I mean Alexander's dad and him, which off course Christian found it weird but decided not to ask.
The entire place was alive people moving up and down , guests arriving one by one, honestly the whole thing was like Christian had just got in the Bridgeton TV series and somehow he was about to play the main character.
"Put this on" the old lady giving Alex the musk , a red feathered mask, you could see the excitement in Rebecca's eyes and couldn't wait for the big reveal and honestly so was Alex.
Inside the house people were busy chatting to one another, sipping drinks and the music was classy and elegant.
"Can I have your attention please" said Anna who was about to give a speech she absolutely didn't wanna give but it seemed like a good chance to be in her mother's good list so she endured.
" Well we thank you all for taking your time and come to celebrate with us , celebrating our dearest mother's birthday whom she has been the greatest mother or Grandma anyone could ask for and with the news that she's thinking of retiring, us as a family we couldn't agree more, we want to take care of her we want our mother to rest in peace" you could see how proud she was after making that statement, not seeing the look everyone was giving her as she just wished her mother dead.
Anna was suddenly interrupted by her mother whom just walked in pushing someone in a wheelchair and all eyes were on them and before she could react her brother beat her into it.
"Mother(spreading his arms as he wanted to give the old lady a hug and a smile that seemed really practised and painful) we have been waiting for you and this young man you saved, such an angel of a mother and thank the Gods you're my mother( aaaand he hugged her)"
"Everybody let's give a warm welcome to my mother the Queen of the house and let her give a speech" Anna continued. Everybody was taking pictures and the press was there as I mean the one and only Rebecca Brown was having an event so off course there's bound to some drama happening and the press was ready for it.
Rebecca stood in front of everyone and Alex by her side looking beautifuly nervous even behind that mask.
"Thank you all for coming to my birthday celebration everyone not everyone out there live to being 85 full years and I thank my family for the support they have given to me and lastly I thank God for everything because without the Lord almighty I wouldn't be here" she looked around and took a big breath as she was about to deliver the bomb to her kids .
"By my side here is my boy whom I saved as I found him on his death bed, when I got him to a hospital they made sure to save him but when he woke his memory was gone so I decided to take him as my grandson atleast until he fully recover and before you ask him anything I'm afraid he won't be able to answer you as he cannot speak at all, now everyone I would like to introduce to you my Grandson Alexander (the name itself felt like slap to the 3 siblings who were watching all this by the sidelines and when their mother removed the mask they almost died there and than ) Alexander Brown " the old lady concluded.
The cameras were flashing questions were ask one after the other and people were so shocked to what in Seven Hells find just happen, because that boy was almost too similar to the Dead Alexander.
Whispers was heard everywhere and then one of the the press pop the question.
"Mrs Brown are you planning to step down as the CEO of L&E firm and if you are to whom are you giving the position?"
The 3 siblings shifted a little everybody preparing themselves to be called.
Mrs Brown smile a little " well about that, yes I'm stepping down and as for the position, they are going to prove themselves to me and the board to why are they fit to run the company"
"So anyone can get the position is that what you trying to say Mrs Brown? Journalists Craig asking
"My husband when he built this company he wanted to make sure that we were helping everyone in need and I wouldn't want some irresponsible anyone ruining the image and what the company stands for Law& Excellency, so yes anybody worthy and responsible can run this company but until then I'm staying and not going anywhere"
The anger in 3 siblings was visible, their mother just called them irresponsible infront of the entire world and they could do not about it. In everybody the grandkids could not remove their eyes on the Alexander, each had a different look Alex couldn't understand like Rebec, she looked so shocked and almost guilt of something, then Bright, he looked pissed and furious, maybe he thought this Alexander was going to steal the love of their Grandma from them, which was ridiculous in Alex's head, then lastly Brian whom he looked .... emotionless no facial expressions no nothing just a blank stare that gave Alex creeps.
After all that every family member introduced themselves to the knew member of the family Alexander and Alex could tell that nobody was happy of him being here worse with that face.
Everybody had gone home and the Browns were alone now digesting everything that just happen and this Alexander wasn't helping at all with the ghost face that reminded them of that ..... let just say the old Alexander was a pain to everyone in this family except the old lady.
