Chapter 2 - gu immortal cultivation guide

Gu Immortal cultivation represents the transition of a Gu Master from the mortal realm to the immortal realm, achieved through the accumulation of foundation and the mastery of the world's laws, or in other words Dao Marks. This process is defined by the transformation of a Gu Master's aperture into an Immortal Aperture and the production of Immortal Essence.

*The Threshold: Immortal Ascension*

Advancing to a Gu Immortal requires a rank five peak stage Gu Master to undergo a high-risk process known as Immortal Ascension.

It consists of three primary steps:

1. Shattering the Aperture: The Gu Master uses their primeval essence to destroy their mortal aperture, creating a hole in their body that connects to the outside world.

2. Taking in the Qi:The Master must draw in (Heaven Qi) and (Earth Qi) from the surrounding world and balance them with their own (Human Qi). If any of these three qi are imbalanced—such as having too much human qi, which leads to self-detonation—the gu Master undergoing Ascension will perish.

3. Releasing the Gu: Once the three qi are balanced into a tri-colored primordial lump, the Master tosses in their (Vital Gu) (and potentially other Gu). This triggers a mystical explosion that creates the (Immortal Aperture), a small world independent of the outside world.

A critical benefit of this process is (Natural Inspiration) , where the Gu Master's will interacts directly with the (Heavenly Dao) , allowing them to ask questions and receive answers about the mysteries of the universe and their chosen path.

The Foundation of a gu immortal: The Immortal Aperture

The Immortal Aperture is the core of a Gu Immortal's wealth and strength, serving as both their primary resource base and their internal world.

diffrence of immortal apertures:

Blessed Lands (Rank 6-7): The apertures of rank six and seven Gu Immortals. They are graded based on their foundation: (Low), (Medium), (High), and (Super) (the latter being unique to the (Ten Extreme Physiques).

Grotto-heavens (Rank 8-9): Higher-level apertures that can develop independent ecosystems with day and night cycles.

Immortal Aperture Origin Core:[The base of the aperture that produces (Immortal Essence). The core's production speed is determined by the aperture's development and its rate of time relative to the outside world.]

#Energy Source: Immortal Essence

Unlike mortal Gu Masters who use primeval essence, Gu Immortals use (Immortal Essence), which is significantly more powerful; a single bead can be equivalent to nearly unlimited primeval essence(the most important couse of the astronomical diffrence between mortal and immortal realms). The types of essence produced depend on the Gu Immortal's rank:

* Rank 6: Green Grape Immortal Essence.

* Rank 7: Red Date Immortal Essence.

* Rank 8: White Litchi Immortal Essence.

* Rank 9: Yellow Apricot Immortal Essence.

Gu Immortals can also refine (Immortal Essence Stones), the currency of the immortal world, into their own essence, though the conversion rate is extremely inefficient for higher ranked gu immortals (e.g., 10,000 stones for one rank 8 white litchi bead).

# The Law of the World: Dao Marks and Attainment

A Gu Immortal's power is largely determined by their (Dao Marks) and (Attainment Level).

* (Dao Marks): These are fragments of the Great Dao etched onto the Gu Immortal's body and aperture. They amplify the power of Gu worms and killer moves of the same path; for every 100 marks, power increases by 10%, and 1,000 marks double the effect.

* (Attainment Levels): These represent a Gu Immortal's qualitative understanding of a path's laws, ranging from (Ordinary) to (Supreme Grandmaster).

* (Master): Grants intuition and natural skill in using Gu.

* (Grandmaster): Allows a Gu Immortal to use their path's methods to mimic the effects of other paths.

* (Great Grandmaster): Grants the ability to use the natural dao marks of the world to set up formations or killer moves.

* (Supreme Grandmaster): The highest realm, where the user's understanding of the path is equivalent to the world itself.

there is also a level of attainment borderline between the two,in a way half step to the next level of attainment.they are called:

quasi _ master

quasi _ grand master

quasi _ great grand master

quasi _ supreme grand master

#(Calamities and Tribulations)

The Heavenly Dao maintains balance by sending (Calamities and Tribulations) to weaken Gu Immortals whose apertures have become too prosperous.

* (Earthly Calamity): Occurs every 10 years (aperture time) for Ranks 6 and 7.

* (Heavenly Tribulation):Occurs every 100 years for Rank 6; every 50 years for Rank 7; every 10 years for Rank 8.

* (Grand Tribulation):Occurs every 100 years for Rank 7; every 50 years for Rank 8.

* (Myriad Tribulation):Apocalyptic events occurring every 100 years for Rank 8.

* (Chaotic Disaster): The most terrifying trial, faced only by (Rank 9 Venerables) every 100 years, originating from the chaos outside the world boundary.

#(Invincibility: The Dao Lord Realm)

At Rank 9, a Gu Immortal with Supreme Grandmaster attainment becomes a (Dao Lord). They can sense and refine all the natural dao marks of their path in the five regions and two heavens, allowing them to manipulate the world itself as if it were a massive, permanent battlefield killer move. This status grants them absolute invincibility within their era, as their every move is amplified by the world's own power.
