The orders from Adrian were clear: control the leak, divert the enemy, and, most crucially, create a layer of distance and control around the asset Captain Cole before Derrick could strike. Adrian was exposed in the supermax; his communication was only as secure as my logistics. Dante Rossi's betrayal meant the pattern was compromised. We needed to shatter that pattern and relocate Adrian to an environment where our influence was absolute, and the risk to the captain was manageable under our direct supervision.
