Damian smiled, stepping closer to Judge Vance, his hand brushing hers as he leaned into her neck and took a deep breath. The touch made her shiver, but she didn't pull away.
Instead, her breath caught, a flush creeping up her neck. Damian moved nearer, his fingers tracing the line of her jaw. Helena's eyes fluttered shut for a moment, savoring the warmth.
"Helena," he called her by her first name. "You look like you need this… like you need me."
Helena shuddered at his words but didn't refute. If it were any other person calling her by her first name, she would have gone mad with fury. But she can make an exception for a handsome lover.
