I sat beside my parents grave. clutching the soil in my hand, jaw clenched, eyes red from anger and pain.
"I won't die until I take revenge mom and dad."I whispered but no answer came.
"I will make him pay for his deeds!"
I then stood. brushed the dust off my clothes.
**Ringg ringg**
My phone rang I took it out and checked the ID caller he was my grandfather jasprit jean Mariano I picked up the call.
"Where are you dear?why weren't you picking up the call?" He asked a hint of worry in his voice.
"I'm coming home pa don't worry I'm fine."
"Ok dear be careful."
I hung up the phone and walked toward my car. I sat fastened my seatbelt and started the engine,
I wasn't driving recklessly I didn't on the radio to hear music 🎶. my drive my smooth and peaceful even when nothing in my life was peaceful after my parents died.
I stopped the car outside a cafe. I got out of the car walked in the cafe and ordered a black coffee with two muffins.
After ordering the food I walked towards the washroom to wash my hand and fix my miserable face. I walked out after fixing my looks and sat at my chair near the window.
New York was loud people didn't care about each other they minded their own business.
I like it .
I ate my breakfast quietly and went home afterwards.
I don't understand why we had such a massive mansion just for three people?
Nevermind.
I walked in the house and fresh flowers and cinnamon rolls smell hit me. even when the house was huge as a castle it still felt warm.
I walked inside and sat near the window on a soft cozy chair sat my grandma doing her crochet 🧶 her glasses on her nose looking too focused and professional.
"I'm home ma," I greeted her with a kiss on her right cheek.
She smiled warmly and finished her crochet which turned out to be a scarf.
A red one.
"Look at this honey, I made this for you."she said wrapping the scarf around my head like I was still 5 while I was going to be 18.
I know that still there are 4 months for me to be 18 but who cares.
"Thank you ma."I said smiling, clutching the scarf 🧣 she made.
"Lets eat breakfast together honey look I made your favorite cinnamon rolls."
"Ma-"
"Don't ma me jay eat breakfast and then pack for your flight tonight."she replied firmly
Tonight I will go to Philippines– new country–new people– new environment.
Honestly I don't to leave my grandparents here but my aunt insisted for me to come there and live with them for a while. And I can't even refuse because she always treated me like her own Daughter.
"Jay, you're zoning out again." Grandma said suddenly.
"N..no I was just thinking about something." I replied
She chuckled.
"Ma wheres grandpa?" I asked because I didn't see him since morning.
"He said he was going for a walk."
I nodded. We started to eat while talking about random stuff and how our lives were going,.
soon we finished eating even when I was full because I ate at the cafe I still couldn't refuse to grandma so I just ate without complaining.
I then went to my room to pack my stuff I took two suitcases from my cupboard in one suitcase I filled my causal clothes outdoor wear clothes, shoes and one pair of heel.
In the second suitcase I filled my books, my journals, my moms dairy and soo much other random stuff.
By the time I was done it was already
2:32 pm which meant my grandma and grandpa must have eaten their lunch.
I fresh up and changed into comfortable clothes. I walked down the massive stairs and walked towards the dinning room I called a maid and told her to serve me food.
It was pasta 🍝 with chicken leg piece and some I was eating my food when my phone rung it was 'Jessica Leblanc' who was a best friend of mine whom I can trust her with my everything we have been together since we're kids.
I picked up the call and put it on speaker.
"HELLOOOO JAYYYY!!YOUU DIDN'T TELL MEEE YOU WEREE GOING TO PHILIPPINES!!" She basically shouted. My ears were about to combust!
"Jessi, I can hear you you don't need to shout."
"Oh come on jay bro, let's go somewhere we can enjoy your last day in New York,"
" pick me up from my house at 4:00 pm."
"Ok byeeee jayy broo," she giggled and hung up the call.
This girl!!
I finished my food and put the dishes into the sink I went in the room and called 'Calles Cruz' he was my hacker buddy.
He picked up the call after 2 rings.
"Hello Calles how are you doing bro?"
"I'm fine jay, what about you? I heard that you're going to Philippines?"
"Yeah I'm also fine. Any info about kaizer?"
"Yeah, hes is currently in London, and also trying to target the Watsons money."
"So, that means that he don't own the Watson money?"
"No he don't, the legal heir of Watson Enterprise is mark keifer Watson his son,"
"Oh okay, don't forget to give me updates. Byee."

I hung up the phone and decided to take a nap.

I woke up to my phone ringing, I picked up the call and it was none other then Jessi.
"JAYYY! IM OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE! DONT MAKE ME WAIT FOR A LONGGG TIMEE!!"
"ahmm, Jessi don't shout I'm awake, I'm coming."
I hung up the phone and walked towards the washroom to fresh up.
After freshing up I wore my clothes which were a hoodie and sweatpants with sneaker.
I walked downstairs, said goodbye to grandma and grandpa.
I came out and Jessi was already sitting in her car. I sat in the passenger side and Jessi started driving.
"Jay what took you sooo longg to gett Ready?"
"Nothing, I just fell asleep."
"Jay why are going to Philippines? You know I will miss you sooo much!"
"I have to Jessi my aunt specially invited me and I can't refuse because she always looked after me after my grandparents."
"Hmm okay, but do call me everydayy okayyy!!"
"Of course how can I forget my troublemakers friend."
Soon we reached out destination.
The cafe was very beautiful.
Cozy interior, warm light, and whimsical vibe.
We sat in a table with three chairs and gave our order.
Honestly Calles and Jessica were my bestest friends. life without them would have been very boring,
"Jay why don't we called Calles also? What do you think?"
"Sure whatever you want."
Jessi called Calles, and put the phone on speaker, "hi Jess how are you?"he asked
"I'm fine Calles. Me and jay we're at --- cafe. So if you're free maybe you can come here."
"Sure I'm coming give me 15 minutes."he replied and hung up the phone.
After sometime calles also came and sat at our table.
We ate our food Calles ordered cappuccino with a lotus pastry 🍰
Jessi ordered chocolate milkshake and chocolate pastry. This girl is crazy for chocolates!
I ordered my usual black coffee and cinnamon rolls
We ate our while talking and laughing about random stuff replaying old memories.
They dropped me at my home and Calles and Jessi handed me some gift saying "when you'll see our gift you won't forget us, and we're always with you even we're not there with you."
I hugged them last time and walked inside the house where grandma and grandpa were sitting sipping tea ☕
I walked up to them and sat.
"How are you grandpa? where were you?"
"I'm fine dear, I went to buy you a gift look at this." He said handing me a gift box.
"Open it dear."
I opened and inside there was a lace vintage journal with a luxury pen and a small diamond necklace.
I smiled a genuine smile not the forced or fake one.
"I walked up to them and hugged them thank you grandpa I love it<3,"
I hugged grandma also and thanked her for the scarf.
I opened my friends gift also. Calles gifted me a photo frame of me, Jessi and Calles himself.
And Jessica gifted me a branded watch with a Prada bag 🛍️.
I took my gift and stuffed them into my suitcase. After eating my food I slept because I had to wake up early tomorrow.

My alarm rung at 3:30am I dragged myself from the bed and walked up toward the bathroom still half asleep.
The cold water hit my face like a slap. I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower.
I wore a causal hoodie with a trouser and UGGs slippers.
I took a hand carry bag and filled it with my electronic my book novel some toiletries and my glasses.
I walked downstairs and my grandparents were still sleeping so I didn't woke them up I walked outside and cold breeze hid my face, it was still dark.
I called my driver and soon he came i sat in the backseat of the car.
I looked at my home behind me, idk when I will see my home again.
Soon we reached the airport it was still early so I decided to buy some gifts for my aunt and cousins.
For aunt I bought a Versace perfume and for my cousin Angelo I bought a Rolex watch ⌚.and for – Aries I also bought a watch.
After waiting and roaming for sometime I boarded the plane. It was a business class seat.
I decided to sleep because the lake of sleep.
I wokeup to the flight attendant saying that we're going to land in sometime.
I took out my makeup from my bag and started doing a minimal makeup to hide my– dark circles.
By the time I was done the plane also landed.
My aunt had already sanded a car to pick me up. the driver loaded my luggage into the car trunk.
Manila– was different.
The streets.
The air.
The people.
Everything.

I know that there will be some grammatical mistakes but please try to ignore them because I'm still a student and English is not my first language so. The chapter has 1800 words btw.
