As soon as he landed on the deck, two Marines rushed over, shouting
"You bastard, you actually made us wait so long..."
Recognizing the two as Fumbudhi and Jango, Taro was just about to greet them when they were kicked flying by someone, freezing the smile on his face.
Immediately after, Tashigi's figure appeared. She looked very happy. After kicking away the two nuisances, she quickly walked over to Taro and said:
"Don't listen to their nonsense. I just arrived not long ago myself."
As soon as Tashigi finished speaking, another female voice chimed in, "Hehehe, little Tashigi, waiting from dawn until afternoon is considered 'not long ago'?"
Taro was stunned. Why was this woman here?
She was an exceptionally beautiful woman with exquisite features, wearing a Japanese-style hairstyle and a peach-colored short dress. She had a beauty mark by the corner of her mouth and a spider tattoo on her left leg. Tall and slender, her every movement was captivating.
Navy Headquarters Vice Admiral, Gion, codename "Momousagi", also a candidate for Admiral!
Tashigi hadn't expected Gion to expose her like that and immediately glared at her angrily.
Gion, however, frowned. She hadn't expected the famously renowned Taro to be such a shallow person.
Seeing him struck dumb by her beauty like this displeased her somewhat.
Her gaze shifted. She smoothed her hair, looked at Taro with affectionate, soulful eyes, and spoke in an utterly bewitching voice,
"Hehehe, little brother, am I beautiful? Have you fallen for me?"
What shocked Taro was encountering Momousagi here.
Shouldn't she be stationed at Mary Geoise year-round with "Tokikake"?
If she's here, is Tokikake here too?
As he thought this, he heard Momousagi's question and was utterly baffled. What's wrong with this woman?
Asking such a question at a first meeting? Too narcissistic!
Then another thought occurred to him. Isn't she Vice Admiral Tsuru's younger sister? She even calls Vice Admiral Garp "little Garp".
She's probably another "grandmother-level" figure, who knows how old she really is.
The thought of a "grandmother-level" woman teasing him made Taro shudder involuntarily. His body trembled, and he immediately wanted to deny it.
Fortunately, Taro had faced this kind of life-or-death question from women asking men if they're beautiful many times in his past life. At the last moment, a strong survival instinct made him swallow the triple denial he was about to blurt out.
Taro could only cast a pleading look at Tashigi. Tashigi "pfft" laughed and then said to Gion with a smile:
"Alright, Gion, stop teasing Taro. You've scared him!"
"Little Tashigi, you're so naive. Didn't you see this man couldn't take his eyes off me?"
Gion was somewhat speechless.
"Tashigi, you're the best, a savior in times of need! I really was scared by her!"
Taro's eyes showed gratitude.
"Taro, this is Navy Headquarters Vice Admiral Gion. She's been stationed at Mary Geoise..." Tashigi introduced her to Taro.
Having survived the ordeal, Taro let out a sigh of relief and said earnestly, "A pleasure to meet you, Vice Admiral Gion. I'm Taro."
Seeing Taro's reaction, Gion thought he was relieved that Tashigi hadn't noticed his odd behavior. Her frown deepened. She snorted coldly at Taro and said nothing.
Is this woman really that problematic?
Even Taro, as slow as he was, sensed Gion's hostility towards him.
What the hell? We just met for the first time!
Memories flashed through his mind. Suddenly, Taro thought of a possibility!
He'd heard that Tokikake had confessed to Momousagi 100 times, and was rejected every time.
Combined with Momousagi's sudden appearance on Tashigi's ship and her obvious hostility towards him at their first meeting...
Taro arrived at a convincing conclusion.
Momousagi is a lesbian! A lily!
This conclusion startled even Taro, but the more he thought about it, the more certain he became.
Then Taro grew vigilant. Subconsciously, he positioned himself between Tashigi and Momousagi, separating them.
Tashigi couldn't possibly imagine the rich inner dramas these two were having.
However, seeing Taro stand by her side made her happy, and she grew even more dissatisfied with Gion's dismissive attitude towards him.
"Gion, how can you be like this!"
Seeing Taro suddenly get so close to her, Momousagi felt even more disgusted. She took a step back, putting distance between them.
Seeing Gion retreat in the face of difficulty, Taro also relaxed a bit.
The atmosphere among the three instantly became subtle.
"What's wrong with you all? Why aren't you saying anything? What are you standing around for? Tashigi is confused!"
After another Stalemate moment, Tashigi finally couldn't help but speak up.
With someone breaking the silence, the solidification air became active again.
Taro decided not to drag this out any longer and simply lay down on a deck chair.
A short while later, Tashigi brought over a glass of sherry wine, placed it beside Taro's hand, and said with a smile:
"Taro, I heard you were promoted to Headquarters Vice Admiral. Tashigi is very happy."
Taro picked up the glass and took a big gulp, exhaling a comfortable breath of alcohol. He said lazily, "Don't mention it. My head is spinning right now..."
While Taro and Tashigi were chatting on the deck, Momousagi returned to the lounge and took out a den den mushi.
"Hello, little sister! You've met Taro, right? So, what do you think? Isn't he an outstanding young man?"
On the other end of the line, Vice Admiral Tsuru, having just picked up, asked Can't wait.
"Hmm, I've met him," Momousagi replied coldly.
Vice Admiral Tsuru detected the abnormality in Momousagi's tone. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"
"I don't think he's good enough for little Tashigi," Momousagi said softly.
Vice Admiral Tsuru was speechless for a long moment, I was confused for a while. "Why do you say that?"
"He's just a frivolous and lecherous guy!" Momousagi added another sentence.
Vice Admiral Tsuru massaged her forehead.
"Little sister, could you finish saying everything at once? Chatting like this is exhausting. Have some consideration for an old lady!"
Only then did Momousagi recount everything that happened after meeting Taro to Vice Admiral Tsuru, especially Taro's reactions, adding some artistic embellishments that would make anyone who heard it share her indignation.
After listening, Vice Admiral Tsuru hesitated for a long time before speaking softly, "That shouldn't be the case... little sister, are you sure?"
Momousagi nodded firmly, her tone Extremely solemn. "Of course. I trust my judgment!"
Vice Admiral Tsuru then sighed and murmured, "So, when he said before that he wanted to get to know Boa Hancock... he was serious?"
"Hmm? What did you say?" Momousagi asked Confusely, hearing Vice Admiral Tsuru's Intermittent murmurs.
"Oh, nothing, don't mind it!" Vice Admiral Tsuru came back to her senses. "This is a critical period. I'll handle this matter later. Don't act rashly!"
"Click."
Momousagi direct hung up the phone. Her eyes flickered as she thought for a moment before returning to the deck.
On the deck, Taro was pouring out his grievances to Tashigi, recounting his recent Tragic experience of running around everywhere and being worked like a horse.
Tashigi smoked a cigarette, tilting her head to look at the rambling Taro with a smile on her face.
Seeing this, Momousagi's gaze darkened even further.
