Tried to understand why a tombstone with her name engraved on it had been erected for her.
By the sister of her enemy no less.
And in a world that she believed had forgotten she ever existed.
In a world she believed only Ronan remembered who she was and her name, Eclipse should have tried to make sense of the variable that was Violet NorthSteed.
As much as she could, tried to make sense of her distracted ramblings and get an answer from her. A real answer that did not add to her confusion.
Not like Eclipse hadn't asked again. In the carriage while they returned from Mountain Avalon, she had asked Violet why she mourned a girl she knew nothing of.
Violet had answered with a shrug. Then said;
