Time slowed into nothingness as five coins took to the air in slowed motion.
Eclipse felt the force of hypnotism pressing on her in spite of her anger. Without meaning to, she stared at the coins like they beckoned on her to look.
Like if she refused to look at it, the consequences would be devastating.
They demanded her attention in a way that was ruthless… in a way that felt unnatural, and before she knew it, she was trapped in space, feeling listless.
She could be without legs and still not have any knowledge of that.
Pressure pressed against her back, and danger alarms went off in her head, yet she was unable to reach out to her wolf as she would normally do.
Violet NorthSteed had put a spell on her.
Quite literally
And it was hard to say whether or not the other woman knew.
As against her usually confused inexpressiveness, Violet Northsteed wore a smirk that stretched taut against her lips.
