ECLIPSE
Eclipse decided she would act that night.
Not because of the false-alarm interrogation from Malric, nor because of the possibility that her contact person from the Hollow was probably amongst the Alphas coming to the North.
It was because something about the interrogation of Rooster by Malric refused to leave her mind.
It was the nagging suspicion that she was missing something. And while ordinarily she remained unconcerned of any variable save for how she will put Malric seven feet in the ground, she was curious.
So that night after the brunch with Malric, she sequestered herself in her quarters.
She received guests as she ordinarily would have, pretending to go along with their pathetic courtesy visit which did not disguise the fact they remained curious about the fake, nonexistent relationship she must have with Malric.
Venom did not visit her again lest she raised suspicion, but she sent flowers to her.
Specifically, the Datura flower.
