Maru looked behind him, afraid of what might happen now that he had unleashed all his power to fight Rull. But there was no one there, just a shadow standing in the distance. Maru smiled, thinking Rull had tricked him.
When he turned back to face Rull, the boy had already disappeared. Maru chuckled to himself.
"You're a strong kid. I don't know why you don't want to show your true power."
Not far from Yue's house, there was a rundown, old house. Rull headed there, the creaky sound of the wooden floorboards echoing with each step as if the house was about to collapse.
Rull went inside. There was only a bed, a wooden table, and a closet. On the table was a picture of a couple and a small child. It seemed this was Rull's home. He lay down on the bed and fell asleep from exhaustion.
Five hours later...
The sound of the door slamming open woke Rull up. It was Yue, who had come to invite him for an evening walk.
Still half-asleep, Rull saw the shape of a woman above him. Her face looked like Lia, Yue's mother, whom he secretly liked. Startled, he opened his eyes wide, and the blurry image faded to reveal Yue's face instead.
"Did I just expect Lia to be on top of me?"
He shook his head to get rid of the thought.
He looked at Yue with his purple eyes. The beauty of the young girl's smiling face made waking up feel pleasant. He held Yue to keep her from falling and sat up. They were now close to each other while she sat on Rull thigh.
"What's up, Yue? Why did you wake me up so late?" Their faces so close that his breath brushed against her lips.
She felt a small spark of desire and pushed Rull back down onto the bed. The push was a bit strong, making the bed shake. Rull leg accidentally touched Yue's sensitive spot, making her let out a soft sound.
"Ahh..."
With that sound, they both froze, staring at each other in silence. Rull then moved his leg and acted as if nothing had happened. Yue got up from the bed with a red face and walked toward the door.
Feeling embarrassed, she said, "I'll wait for you outside."
Rull got up and rubbed his forehead. He felt awkward, but at the same time, his body reacted to the sound Yue had made. He hurried to the closet and looked for new clothes. He picked a white long-sleeved shirt, simple pants, and slippers, then went to the bathroom to change.
After getting ready, he met Yue in front of the house.
"Let's go. Where should we walk?"
Yue looked at him, suddenly finding him very handsome. Even though she was usually tough, she had suddenly become shy.
"Um, anywhere..."
Seeing her act like this, Rull smiled. "Is someone getting shy looking at me? Is it because I'm too handsome?" He gave her a cocky, playboy look.
She felt annoyed and punched Rull in the stomach.
"Argh!"
Rull groaned in pain while peeking at Yue. He could tell she was back to her normal self.
They walked to the town, which wasn't far from the village. There were many shops along the stone streets, each with wooden signs swinging in the wind. Rull walked behind Yue with his hands behind his head while she looked at the shops, searching for fruit to bring home. She found a fruit shop and looked through the pumpkins, apples, and grapes.
After she finished shopping, they started walking back. However, Rull saw a shop selling sweets. He asked Yue to wait for a second while he went to buy something.
Yue nodded.
Rull went inside to find chocolates for Yue and her mother. He found a popular brand and bought two packs. After paying, he walked out and saw Yue being bothered by a group of noble kids.
Yue stood silently as the group approached her. They started talking about how she should become their maid and serve them so she could live "happily." Yue thought their words were disrespectful and slapped one of the boys.
The group got angry and raised their hands to slap her back. Yue lowered her head and closed her eyes, waiting for the hit. But before the hand could touch her face, Rull caught the boy's wrist.
Rull smiled at them and pushed the boy back. It was a gentle push, but strong enough to make him stumble.
"So, does anyone else want to try fighting me, or are you going to get out of here?"
The boy, furious, ran away while shouting, "Just wait! My father will have you arrested, and that girl will become a slave for all the noble kids!"
With that, they left. Rull saw Yue shaking and tried to calm her down.
"It's okay, they're gone. Don't worry, I'm here."
He hugged her, gently rubbing her back, and led her back to the village.
When they arrived at Yue's house, they saw her mother, Lia, hanging clothes outside. Rull eyes couldn't help but glance at her body . She was wearing a blouse, and the shape of her ass was clearly visible, as if she wasn't wearing any underwear.
After finishing hanging the clothes and about to head inside, Lia noticed Rull and Yue in front of the house, with Yue seemingly still shaken.
"What happened to her?" Lia asked.
He explained the situation, and Lia hugged Yue tightly.
"Don't worry, Yue. They can't do anything to us. Your father is strong, you know. He'll help us if anything bad happens," Lia reassured her.
After a while, Yue started to calm down.
Before leaving, Rull handed the chocolates he had bought to Lia and said, "These are for both of you." He then bowed and headed back to his house.
