Chapter 2 - 2. Introductions

I sighed and looked at the remaining 20 people.

"Don't try to exit the Culling Game. It will lead to certain death."

"But what does this mean!? If we don't kill a player in 19 days... Do we have to kill each other to survive?"

I shook my head.

"Just humans aren't players. Monsters are players too.

For now, we need to stay together and ensure that we get atleast 1 point each for each person within 19 days, or someone gets 100 points and establish a new rule for allowing transfer of points.

I will say this first. My Cursed Technique is 'Reincarnation'. So, I can revive you as long as you get healed. This guy got revived, but he is brain-dead, his heart didn't start again, and he died again.

So, as long as you don't take too much damage, or we get a healer with us, we can survive."

I revealed my Cursed Technique to make everyone aware that I am the most important person here. That my survival is important if they want to have a higher chance of survival.

"Moreover, let's establish some ground rules, that will ensure that no one betrays us and tries to kills us to get points.

I just understood from my Cursed Technique that there is something called Binding Vow. It's like a contract, recognised by the world. On breaking it, it leads to certain death.

Those who want to move together, take a binding vow with each other that we won't harm each other. Those who don't want to take this binding vow, you can leave the group and go off on your own."

Of course, 'Harm' here is upto the participant's view of exactly what it means. Just like Yuji didn't consider himself in the not harming anyone binding vow he did with Sukuna.

So, the binding vow will be an assurance against backstabbing, and have loopholes of what I am considering as 'harm' in case of emergency. Since most people might be considering 'harm' to be killing, given the situation.

Using my Cursed Technique on them isn't 'harm'.

For them too, using my Cursed Technique on them isn't 'harm' since I can revive them using it.

This loophole should be enough for any future emergencies.

Everyone looked at each other, some hesitated, and most were relieved about having a way to prevent betrayal that they have been fearing.

"Nah! I am working on my own."

A muscular guy said and left.

And the rest of 19 agreed.

So with me, a group of 20 people was formed and we took the binding vow with each other.

Right now, we are weak. And who knows what psycho sorcerer of path might target us. So it's best to be in a group.

"I should introduce myself. I am Tachibana Yosuke. My Cursed Technique is 'Reincarnation'. And I am telling this beforehand, but I am not the leader of this group who can guarantee our survival. You can't just leave everything to me and expect things to work out.

We have to put our efforts together desparately to survive. No one can slack off, or they will be on their own."

It's better to lay things out properly from the start.

A hunk nodded and said, "I am Sato Tenya. My Cursed Technique is Water Manipulation. And this is my son Sato Kentaro."

"My Cursed Technique is Beyblade!"

Water Manipulation huh? Though she doesn't seem to have much Cursed Energy, her Cursed Technique will be very versatile.

After them, the others also introduced themselves.

Though their Cursed Techniques didn't sound that powerful, the main Cursed Techniques which I think have potential are:

1. Reincarnation: Me

2. Water Manipulation: Sato (a hunk dad)

3. Cosplay: Teruhashi (an otaku girl)

4. Mist: Honjo (a glasses guy)

With introductions out of the way, and declaring our participation in the Culling Game, now it's time to—

"Let's find a shelter and supplies first."

"Yeah."
