To the old Ignotus, it was the end of the world. To the current him? It was a joke he no longer had the patience to hear.

This time, he wouldn't play by their rules. 

While others begged for Primary Elements like Fire or Water, he chose what the realm deemed the weakest of all, knowing its true, terrifying potential.

Armed with a set of Irregular Soul Glyphs and knowledge of the realm's war-ridden future, Ignotus was done running.

He'd leave the family that abandoned him to forge a new Path—one that would lead the House he built into the Heavens, all to rewrite his Fated ending!

Ignotus now stared at the notification before him, after agreeing to and setting terms with Ulv, mostly regarding the amount he was to be paid. Which was five gold, enough coin to buy an entire house in a decent village.


Though he wasn't sure what completing quests gave him, it had to be a reward of some kind, right? But in any case, why him? Was he someone important? Or was there some other mystery he had to solve?


Ignotus didn't hear of Lykos in the future, so he'd either died on the way to the Academy or had reached there only to be killed before his name could spread... An end to most that opposed any Great House... an end that he all but experienced himself.
