Chapter 100 - Chapter 100: First Time... Leaving the Village

Not far away, Konan withdrew her sharp gaze, thinking with some regret.

If only she had fallen a few times like that when she first started learning tree climbing, how wonderful that would have been.

She would have been perfectly willing to spend a whole month learning tree climbing.

Because of her outstanding talent, Konan completed both the tree climbing and water walking training in a remarkably short time.

Naturally, Hayato Ren didn't need to catch anyone falling from trees anymore.

At this moment, Yuhi Kurenai and Mikoto approached from the distance, chatting and laughing.

"Sister Mikoto, why don't you become my teacher instead? Your Illusionary Arts are truly amazing, even better than my father's," Yuhi Kurenai suggested with admiration.

"I don't have the energy to be a Team Leader, but you're welcome to come find me here anytime if you have questions," Mikoto replied, patting Yuhi Kurenai's head with a smile.

Hayato Ren, standing not far away, darkened his expression.

In a way, Yuhi Kurenai's words implied dissatisfaction with him as a teacher.

As a teacher, he could only apologize for not being skilled in Illusionary Arts.

After mentally noting this grievance, Hayato Ren stepped forward and embraced Mikoto.

...

After two days of training, Nohara Rin finally mastered both tree climbing and the more advanced water walking skill.

Yesterday, specifically for water walking practice, Nohara Rin had even brought a swimsuit.

This preparation proved quite successful - with the swimsuit, her falls into the water didn't look awkward at all, instead giving the impression she was just playing in the water.

"Today we'll officially begin learning Medical Ninjutsu. Are you ready?" Hayato Ren asked seriously, looking at Nohara Rin before him.

Hearing this, Nohara Rin showed a determined expression and slowly nodded.

"Good. As our first step in learning, go catch a fish from the river."

Though unsure what connection catching fish had with Medical Ninjutsu, out of trust for Hayato Ren, Nohara Rin immediately rolled up her pants, removed her shoes and socks, and went into the river to catch fish.

Thanks to a ninja's exceptional physical abilities and eyesight, even though she had never caught fish before, Nohara Rin returned five minutes later holding a lively, wriggling fish.

Hayato Ren nodded, then brought out a basin filled with water, signaling Nohara Rin to place the freshly caught fish inside.

Perhaps still shocked from the recent experience, the fish in the basin remained still, quietly hiding in one corner.

"Medical Ninjutsu, simply put, is ninjutsu that uses Yang Release Chakra to stimulate cell regeneration for healing purposes," Hayato Ren explained while demonstrating.

His hands began glowing with a faint green light that radiated rich vitality.

"Reach out your hand and feel this power."

Hearing this, Nohara Rin instinctively looked at Hayato Ren's face.

[Now that I think about it, Ren Sensei is really handsome...]

After a moment of reflection, Nohara Rin gently placed her hands over Hayato Ren's glowing green ones.

A warm current immediately flowed from his hands into Rin's body, causing her to involuntarily let out a soft, comfortable moan.

Rin's face instantly flushed bright red. She quickly withdrew her hands, lowered her head and whispered:

"My apologies, that was improper."

"It's fine. This is just your first contact with medical energy, and you don't have any injuries. It's a normal reaction, nothing to worry about."

Hayato Ren comforted her.

Rin responded softly and finally raised her head, though the blush on her cheeks remained for a long time.

Then, Hayato Ren began demonstrating the hand seals for the most basic healing technique.

After Rin had grasped the technique, Hayato Ren took out a kunai and made a cut on a fish in the basin.

Blood immediately spread through the water, and the unfortunate fish began swimming around restlessly.

Hayato Ren extended his right hand and swiftly caught the fish from the basin.

Then, using only his left hand to form seals, he performed the Medical Ninjutsu he had just taught Rin.

As medical energy continuously flowed into it, the fairly deep wound on the fish's body rapidly healed at a visible rate.

Witnessing this scene, Rin couldn't help but widen her eyes, her face revealing a look of yearning.

After the brief treatment, Hayato Ren returned the fish to the basin.

Back in the water, the fish swam around as if it had never been injured, showing no signs of distress.

Only the blood still lingering in the basin indicated what had just occurred.

"See? Your task today is to keep this fish alive."

After saying this, Hayato Ren picked up the kunai and made another cut on the same fish.

Rin nodded with determination, then reached out to touch the fish.

"By the way, sensei, what happens if I can't save this fish today?"

Rin asked curiously.

Hayato Ren glanced at her and responded calmly:

"If you can't save it, we'll have fish for dinner tonight."

Hearing this, a smile immediately appeared on Rin's face.

She had thought Hayato Ren might impose some punishment, but it turned out to be just this.

...

After more than a week of training, both Nohara Rin and Yuhi Kurenai had undergone remarkable transformations.

Rin had mastered basic Medical Ninjutsu and could now independently treat external injuries.

Under Mikoto's guidance, Kurenai's progress in Illusionary Arts was advancing by leaps and bounds.

As for Konan, since she was already quite powerful to begin with, her training improvements weren't as rapid as the other two.

Hayato Ren considered the situation and decided it was time to let the three young girls experience real combat.

Konan, having already experienced the horrors of war, likely wouldn't have any psychological barriers to this.

However, for Rin and Kurenai, personally killing enemies would still carry some psychological pressure.

Especially for Rin - Hayato Ren even wondered if this inherently kind-hearted girl could complete such a mission.

Following standard procedure, Hayato Ren accepted a mission to defeat bandits, then set out from the village with Kurenai and the other two.

Who knew the Land of Fire had so many bandits? The Leaf ninja were practically overwhelmed with work, yet these missions kept pouring in endlessly.

As they stepped out of the Leaf Village, both Yuhi Kurenai and Nohara Rin couldn't help but show excited expressions on their faces.

This was the first time either of them had ever left the Leaf
