I couldn't see it, but I felt blood starting to pour. But the fucker didn't know how much I've been used to the feeling of blood on my skin.
I snarled in search of fury. I had butted him, hitting him right in the head. Shoving my hands free, I clasped his neck, squeezing.
But then he did something to my chest that made everything black for a second. Only a second, but for the whole world, it was upside down. I saw him inching towards the female mercenary, mumbling something like, "I still need to kill you, Maron."
I was on him in a second. I still had the chains around me. There were three of them, but they were still bound to my feet. I grasped onto them, jumping up from his back to choke him. He started wheezing, going red. I just squeezed even harder. I didn't stop until he died.
