"Just some Ninja Academy students can provide such a massive amount of chakra?"
Ōtsutsuki Kaguya stared at Minamikawa Yuu, confusion filling her eyes.
Yuu had taken her to see those so called Ninja Academy students before.
They were all descendants of the natives. Because the seeds of chakra had been spread, they now carried a small amount of chakra within their bodies, but both the quality and quantity were negligible.
To Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, the Progenitor of Chakra, they were no different from ordinary ants.
How could ordinary ants gather such a vast amount of chakra?
Instinctively, she did not believe it.

His face had turned pale, and he looked distinctly weak.
"Yuu."
Kaguya stepped forward at once, worry flashing in her eyes. She pressed her chakra into Yuu's body to steady him.
As time passed, Yuu was gradually growing older.
By the count, he was now thirty.
At that age, he should have been in his prime, full of vigor and strength.
Yet Yuu's body looked frail.
Kaguya had examined him carefully. It seemed to be the result of innate physical reasons.
She could not help worrying about him.
The Ōtsutsuki Clan naturally had long lifespans, far beyond mortal races.
And after consuming the chakra fruit, Kaguya's constitution and bloodline had been sublimated. She was now nearly immortal.
She would no longer die of old age.
But Yuu was still a mortal.
He would grow old, and one day, he would die.
Even with Kaguya's chakra nourishing him and delaying the process somewhat, it was still only a matter of time.
To prolong Yuu's life, Kaguya offered a method of her own.
She could plant her Karma within Yuu's body, helping his physical form undergo a transformation.
Karma was a unique technique mastered by the Ōtsutsuki Clan.
It could back up the physical data of an Ōtsutsuki and transfer it into another person's body.
Once Karma was planted, the vessel would gradually transform into an Ōtsutsuki until it was completely replaced by the Ōtsutsuki.
The reason Ōtsutsuki Kaguya could be reborn in a clone after her original body perished was because of Karma.
In essence, it sounded similar to possession.

In theory, through this method, Yuu could grasp part of the Ōtsutsuki Clan's power without too much impact on himself.
Of course, even then, it would only greatly delay his lifespan. He would still die eventually.
But that did not matter.
As long as he could consume a chakra fruit before dying of old age, he could, like Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had once done, awaken from an incomplete Ōtsutsuki body and become an immortal lifeform.
At that stage, they could remain together for a long time without worrying about lifespan again.
As for Kaguya's proposal, Yuu only thought for a short while before choosing to agree.
