Chapter 36 - teasing

The mansion was quiet except for the faint hum of Keifer's laptop. He was attending an important online meeting, every detail sharp and precise. Normally, nothing could distract him—but today, Jay had other plans.

"Keifer…" she whispered from behind him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders, leaning close enough for her hair to brush his cheek.

"Hmm?" he muttered, still focused, trying to maintain the calm, collected CEO persona.

Jay grinned, tilting her head. "You're so serious when you're working. You know, that's kind of… sexy."

Keifer's jaw tightened slightly. "Jay… please, not now. I'm in a meeting."

"Oh, come on," she teased, resting her chin lightly on his shoulder. "Five minutes won't hurt. You can handle it."

"I can't, Jay…" he said through gritted teeth, trying to keep his composure, his voice low and warning.

Jay leaned even closer, letting her lips hover near his ear. "Or what?" she whispered. "Are you going to finally admit you like it when I tease you?"

Keifer's hands clenched at his sides, and his breathing hitched slightly. His eyes darted to the screen for a moment, then back to her. The control he usually wielded so effortlessly was slipping.

Before anyone else could notice on the call, Keifer snapped. With one swift movement, he turned off the camera and muted the microphone, the meeting abruptly paused. He spun in his chair and scooped Jay up into his arms without a word.

"Keifer! Wait—what?!" she squealed, laughter bubbling out of her as she clung to him. "Where are you taking me?!"

"To your room," he said, voice low, dangerous, and utterly possessive. "And the door is locked. No interruptions. No distractions. Just you… and me."

Jay's heart hammered. She looked up at him, wide-eyed, her mischievous grin faltering just a fraction at the serious edge in his tone. "Keifer… are you—?"

"I said no distractions," he interrupted, smirking just a little to remind her that he was still the same bossy, teasing, impossible man she loved. "You've been driving me crazy all day. It's my turn."

She let out a soft laugh, pressing herself closer as he carried her down the hallway, the warmth of his body radiating into hers. "You're ridiculous," she whispered.

"And you love it," he replied, voice low and teasing, though every word carried weight.

When he reached the bedroom, he gently set her down on the bed, but didn't let go. His hands lingered on her waist, keeping her close.

"So… no more teasing for now?" he murmured, leaning down slightly, the warning in his voice mixed with an unmistakable glint of mischief.

Jay's lips curved into a daring smile. "I can't promise that," she whispered, pressing a soft, fleeting kiss to his jaw.

Keifer let out a low chuckle, his hands trailing down her sides possessively. "Good," he said, voice husky. "Because I like it when you try… but now… now it's my turn."

Jay's pulse quickened, a mix of excitement and anticipation flooding her senses. He leaned closer, lips brushing her temple in a possessive, soft kiss, before pressing his forehead against hers.

"You really think you can push me all day and get away with it?" he murmured, voice low, teasing but edged with authority.

"I think… you secretly like it," Jay whispered back, fingers brushing over his chest.

Keifer growled softly, tugging her even closer, hands firm on her waist. "Oh, I like it… more than you know. And now… you're not going anywhere."

Jay laughed softly, resting her head against his chest. "Then I'm staying right here. With you."

And for the rest of the evening, the mansion echoed with soft laughter, teasing whispers, loud moans filled the mansion
