Chapter 28 - lucian ,amelia romance ..

They slid into the seats across from us.

Lydia's gaze flicked toward David, her lips curling slightly as curiosity softened into something darker.

"You're early, my love. Don't you usually eat later?" she asked, her voice low and smooth, carrying that familiar seductive edge.

David leaned back in his chair, relaxed but dangerous, a faint smirk resting on his lips.

"Yes, my little poison. But I'm tired today… so I came early."

I ignored the rest of their conversation and focused on Amelia.

She leaned a little closer, her movements slow and deliberate — dangerous in a way only a demoness could manage. Her eyes met mine, sharp and daring, as if she knew exactly the effect she had on me.

"Hey," I said calmly, my voice steady. "How are you?"

"Better now," she purred, her voice soft and velvety, almost a growl. "You've been staring… are you going to eat, or are you just here to watch me?"

"Yes," I replied simply, my gaze following the subtle shift of her posture, the quiet confidence in every movement she made.

She tilted her head, a playful smirk forming.

"You always look so serious," she murmured, leaning slightly closer. "Maybe you need someone to loosen you up a little."

A small, controlled smile touched my lips.

"Maybe. But I decide how… and when."

"Good," she said, her tone daring, almost challenging. "Because I don't play nice unless I want to."

The air between us grew heavy, charged with something dark and electric.

Every glance was a challenge.

Every movement an invitation.

"Shall we?" I asked quietly.

"Finally," she whispered.

She stepped closer, her presence brushing against mine just enough to make the tension between us unbearable.

We both stood.

Across the table, Lydia and David exchanged knowing smiles.

"Finally," Lydia teased, resting her chin on her hand. "Someone agreed after all this time."

"Yes," I replied calmly, meeting Amelia's gaze.

"Yes," she murmured back, a wicked smirk tugging at her lips.

We began walking together.

Close enough that the warmth between us felt almost tangible.

"So… now you want me?" Amelia asked, her voice teasing.

"You don't want me," I replied lightly.

"I'm dying to," she whispered, leaning slightly closer as we walked.

"You're very direct."

"I know," she said with a small laugh.

Her hand brushed along my arm, slow and deliberate.

"Let's have some fun first… then work. What do you say, my love?"

Her laugh was soft and low, filled with mischief.

"Let's go," I said, sliding my arm around her waist.

The closeness made the air between us tense and electric.

The path toward the shelter was silent except for our steps.

When we stepped inside, Amelia pushed the door closed behind us.

She turned slowly toward me.

Amelia's gaze locked onto mine immediately, daring, teasing. The air between us shifted, thick and electric.

"Amelia…" I murmured, my voice rougher now. "Once I start… I don't stop easily."

Her eyes gleamed with reckless excitement.

"Then don't."

That was all it took.

She moved closer, and I didn't hesitate. My hand slid to her waist, pressing her into me. She inhaled sharply, but instead of pulling away, her fingers caught the edge of my top, tugging me closer. The rugged, cut fabric shifted under her hands, revealing more than just arms—hints of chest, a warmth that made my blood pulse faster.

I leaned in, tilting her slightly, pressing her back against me. Her body arched into mine instinctively. Her hands roamed my shoulders and neck, tracing, tugging, claiming me in return.

Without a word, I let my hands wander to the edges of her top, lifting and pulling carefully, almost teasingly.

She responded immediately, guiding my hands, letting me explore, every touch mirrored, every breath mingling.

Our lips met in a fierce, hungry kiss. There was nothing careful about it—every movement was urgent, every touch demanding. Her body pressed fully into mine, our chests brushing, hips tilting, hands tangling in hair, along shoulders, down the spine.

I guided her back, pressing her onto the bed, letting her fall against it with me. She gasped, and I kissed her again, teeth, lips, jaw, neck—tracing every curve, every line. The heat between us built instantly, raw and wild.

We let the last barriers of fabric fall away, skin pressed to skin, exploring, tasting, lost in the fire of each other. Every touch, every subtle movement had been electric, urgent, and entirely ours. When it finally slowed, we stayed tangled together, breathing heavily, letting the warmth linger.

After a while, she nestled into my chest, soft and warm, her body relaxing completely. I held her gently, the chaos of earlier replaced with a quiet, intimate calm.

"Amelia…" I murmured, brushing a strand of hair from her face, my voice low and steady. "It's time."

She lifted her head, lips curling into that familiar, wicked smirk. "Yes… let's go."

We dressed slowly, letting each motion carry a last hint of lingering intimacy, slipping our hands together naturally. Once ready, I took her hand in mine, feeling the warmth of her grip as we stepped out, side by side, our connection still electric, even as we returned to the world outside.

We walked down the corridor toward the level gate, Amelia's hand still lightly in mine. At the entrance to level 10, David and Lydia were waiting.

"Hey," we greeted them together.

Lydia's eyes sparkled with mischief as she glanced at Amelia. "So, Amelia… how was it, huh? You look… happy."

David smirked at me. "So, Lucian… you finally did it after so long."

I couldn't help but smile, Amelia squeezing my hand before letting go. "Yes," I replied simply, letting the satisfaction linger in the moment.

"Let's go for work," I said.

Amelia leaned in, brushing her lips softly against my cheek. "Bye," she whispered, a playful glint in her eyes, before stepping aside.

David and I stepped through the gate toward level 10, the weight of what had just passed still humming between me.

"So… you felt different?" David asked, a teasing edge in his tone. "Or is it the same as with Cristina?"

I took a moment, letting the memory settle before I answered. "Yes… yes, it's the same."

David shook his head, smirking knowingly. "I told you. Sometimes… it's what your body needs. The touch, the warmth… women. Same feeling, same need."

I nodded silently, the words hitting deeper than I expected.
