Chapter 1 - A Second Beginning in Shinkai

A young boy lay in the tall grass beneath a large tree.

The wind blew gently through the plains, making the grass sway back and forth, and the faint chirping of birds filled the air.

Slowly, his eyes fluttered open.

He blinked and pushed himself up, scanning his surroundings.

Endless grass stretched in every direction, broken occasionally by scattered trees. The sky above was wide and clear, the color sharper than anything he remembered. He took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the fresh air. It was lighter, warmer, almost energizing.

A smile slowly spread across his face.

"So this is Shinkai," he murmured.

"My new home... in another universe."

"My name is Hiro Kurogane," he continued softly, as if speaking to himself.

"And yes, you've probably already figured out that I was reincarnated here."

(He skipped the death flashback for now — we'll get to that spicy goddess teasing soon.)

When he opened his eyes again in that endless white space, a woman stood before him.

She wore a thin white dress that seemed woven from light itself. The fabric was semi-translucent in places where the glow hit just right, hinting at the generous curves beneath — full, soft breasts that rose and fell gently with each breath, the faint outline of nipples visible when she shifted. The hem fluttered around her thighs, teasing the smooth skin of her long legs.

Hiro's mouth went dry. Holy—those are... wow. Is that allowed?

"Welcome, Hiro," she said, her voice calm yet carrying a playful lilt.

He swallowed hard. "W-Where am I? And... how do you know my name?"

She tilted her head, causing her long white hair to cascade over one shoulder — and incidentally press the dress tighter against her chest, outlining the perfect swell of her boobs even more clearly.

"Don't you remember what happened to you?" she asked.

"I was stabbed," he managed. "Tried to help a girl..."

She stepped closer. The scent of something sweet and floral wrapped around him. "Yes. You died. Heroically."

Hiro's eyes kept darting — trying to be respectful, failing miserably. Don't stare. Don't stare. Don't—oh gods they're bouncing a little when she moves.

She noticed. A tiny, mischievous smile curved her lips.

"The girl survived, thanks to you," she continued. "Otherwise she would have suffered far worse."

Hiro exhaled in relief. "I'm glad."

"So... what now?" he asked. "Judgment day?"

"Normally, no," she said. "But I brought you here for a second chance." She paused, then let out a soft, teasing laugh. "And honestly... I felt a little sorry for you."

"...Why?" he asked warily.

"You never even had a girlfriend," she said, eyes sparkling. "Never kissed a girl. Never groped soft boobs or felt thighs wrapped around your waist. Dying a virgin... it's honestly kind of tragic."

Hiro's face went beet red. "I'm being mocked by a goddess?!"

She giggled, covering her mouth — which only pushed her chest up higher. "Sorry, sorry. I couldn't resist. You're too cute when you're flustered."

Hiro muttered, "Wow."

She leaned in suddenly, close enough that he could feel the warmth radiating from her body. Her breasts were mere inches from his chest. "So this second chance... reincarnation. Like the stories you love."

Hiro nodded frantically, trying not to look down. "Y-Yeah. Starter pack?"

She raised a perfect white eyebrow. "Starter pack?"

"You know... OP powers. Creation magic or something."

"Creation magic is divine," she said, shaking her head — making certain... assets jiggle distractingly. "But I can give you something close. A store system — Earth items, locked behind levels."

"Deal," he said instantly.

"And?" she prompted, stepping even closer so her thigh brushed his leg for a heartbeat.

Hiro's brain short-circuited. "Insane mana. Game-like system. Inventory. Storage. Make me younger and handsome."

She studied him. "Greedy."

Then, with a shy but bold glint in her eye, Hiro blurted,

"Since I'll never get the chance again... will you come with me? Be mine?"

She raised a hand. "Too greedy."

"...Fair," he grinned sheepishly.

"But," she whispered, leaning so close her soft lips nearly brushed his ear, "this place does get lonely sometimes."

Before he could respond, she placed one delicate finger against his chest — right over his heart.

Pain exploded through him. He screamed. Light swallowed everything.

When he awoke again under the tree, the voice returned — softer, warmer, almost intimate.

Glad to see you woke up safely, Hiro.

"...Hiyori?" he asked.

"I've given you everything you asked for," she purred in his mind. "Even a few... special items. And some starter money. Open your map before you wander off."

He groaned when he saw the distance to town. But he started walking anyway.

Several kilometers later, a carriage rattled up behind him.

"Hey, young man!" the driver called. "You won't make it before dark! Hop in!"

Before Hiro could answer, a rich voice came from inside.

"Get in. We'll give you a ride."

He climbed up and froze.

A well-dressed nobleman sat across from him — and beside the man was a girl about his age.

Long auburn hair tied in a loose ponytail. A fitted traveling dress that hugged her slim waist and flared at the hips. The neckline dipped just low enough to show a tantalizing hint of cleavage — soft, creamy boobs that jiggled faintly every time the carriage hit a bump.

Oh no. Oh no no no. Don't stare. Don't—

"I'm Kael von Ironhart," the man said. "Lord of Takamori."

"Hiro Kurogane," he managed, forcing his eyes up. "I'm going to register as an adventurer."

Kael chuckled. "I was one myself once. Retired for... responsibilities." He gestured. "This is my daughter, Elena."

Elena's cheeks were already faintly pink. She gave a tiny bow — which caused her breasts to press together and rise invitingly for a split second.

Hiro nearly choked.

She kept stealing glances at him the whole ride, biting her lip nervously.

"So... you want to be an adventurer?" she asked quietly.

"Y-Yeah," he said, trying not to notice how her thighs were squeezed together on the seat, the thin fabric of her dress stretched tight enough to hint at the delicate outline of her cameltoe when she shifted.

"Elena wants to be one too," Kael said proudly. "She loves adventure."

Hiro forced a smile. "Maybe we can form a party someday."

Her face lit up like the sun. She leaned forward excitedly — and her boobs very nearly brushed his knee.

Hiro's soul almost left his body. Soft... so soft-looking... NO! Bad Hiro!

They reached Takamori just before sunset.

After Kael helped with the paperwork, Hiro rented a room at the inn near the gate, ate a hearty meal, and collapsed onto the bed.

"I can't wait to explore this world," he muttered. "Get strong... find a girlfriend... maybe even touch some real boobs someday..."

A soft, teasing voice echoed in his head.

I'm disappointed, Hiro.

"...Goddess?"

"You invited me to join you," Hiyori said, her tone playful and a little sultry. "But you never even checked if I was really here."

"...What do you mean?"

"Close your eyes."

He did.

The world shifted.

He stood in an endless, quiet space — his inner world.

And there she was.

Hiyori. Impossibly beautiful. Long white hair flowing past her waist. Pale crystal eyes. And that same thin white dress... except now, in this private space, it clung even more scandalously to her body. The fabric was practically sheer where it stretched over her full, round breasts — nipples visibly stiff against the material. Her hips flared into thick, soft thighs that pressed together as she shifted her weight, and when she turned slightly he caught the perfect heart-shaped outline of her plump ass.

Hiro's jaw dropped.

"Are you going to keep staring?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. One hand rested on her hip, accentuating the curve.

"S-Sorry!" he yelped, face flaming. "It's just... you're... wow."

She stepped closer — close enough that he could feel the heat from her body. Her boobs brushed his chest for a heartbeat. Soft. Warm. So unfairly soft.

"This is your inner world," she explained. "I can't enter the physical plane freely yet... so I'll stay here. Inside you." She smiled wickedly. "Very... close."

Hiro swallowed. "R-Right. Close."

She reached out and gently — almost teasingly — pressed her palm to his chest. "We'll learn together."

Her fingers trailed down a few centimeters before she pulled back.

Hiro's heart was hammering.

She smiled softly. "For now."

He opened his eyes back in the real world, still flushed and breathing hard.

Hiyori's voice whispered one last time, warm and amused in his mind:

Sleep well, Hiro. Dream of me.

He buried his face in the pillow, groaning.

This new world was going to be dangerous in ways he hadn't expected.

For the first time since arriving in Shinkai, Hiro drifted into a deep — and very restless — sleep.
