Naruto punched at sasuke once and it connected and then twice was when sasuke blocked delivering an elbow to the Naruto on him when he looked up to see another Naruto with a rasengan coming from above onto him and two more Naruto from both sides.
And then bam! The rasengan slammed into the position where sasuke was only to see that it was another Naruto who was struck effectively disabling the clone.
Sasuke on the other hand weaved a hand sign and cat the 'fire-style: fireball jutsu'
The Naruto closest to him which were the ones on top of him and the one with the rasengan were slow to react as they got hit by the jutsu and dispersed in a puff of smoke undoing the jutsu, the Naruto a little further away was quick to see it considering his position and roll away when he saw another fireball and quickly activated the sage of six paths chakra mode with three truth seeking orbs behind him and a glare.as he swiftly moved aside again while forming a kurama avatar tail to swat the fireball away only to be intercepted in his next position by a lightning fast sasuke coated in his element with a chidori in hand.
Quick to react Naruto deflected the arm with the chidori leaving sasuke a second to maintain balance, right before he slammed a punch into his stomach, knocking the air out of the Uchiha lungs, followed by another punch to the face which sasuke blocked but then a kick followed to the stomach again, pain written over sasuke face as he was lifted slightly into the air and could not react on time when the next familiar consecutive blows followed, a punch, a kick, double punches and a kick that sent sasuke flying into the dirt.
Blood spilled from sasuke mouth as he stood up from the dirt with a smile on his face and looked at Naruto.
"I don't want to kill you sasuke!" naruto said
Sasuke wiped the blood from his mouth as his gaze sharpened and replied
"this isn't even barely enough to kill me"
With a scorn on Naruto face as they stood merely meters away from each other and not far from the cliff, Naruto made a hand-sign with hesitation and then said
"stop this sasuke! Release the tailed beasts and we can all go home to a better tomorrow, we can rebuild, revolution doesn't have to involve destruction, how would that make you any different from six paths super gramps kids, or madara, and kaguya! Itachi wouldn't want this! He would want for you to live on, you already have people who…"
"enough naruto! What do you know about what Itachi wanted, he made a mistake by allowing the hatred to disseminate to me, his failure to cut all bonds will not be repeated Naruto. Come! And don't hold back this time" sasuke said with a focused gaze
Naruto finally initiated the jutsu, a multi shadow clone jutsu, a thousand clones with the chakra cloak filled everywhere so far the eye could see.
