As the night went by soon being the next when first light appeared as it it time for the day to come, Dani is the first to be awoken as she began to gather twenty of her best men to aid them on the battle as Venny arrives wide awake as he stands besides Dani as she began to enact her plan to the twenty men accompany them for the battle. Then Ralian and Gale are the next to wake up as they are in Ralian's room but are covered in sticks and leave. The two quickly get themselves ready putting on their gear, though from the exit of Ralian's room they noticed Yamma waiting for them "took you long enough" she scoffed at the two of them. "
"You're awake early" Ralian said
"I wasn't in the mood to sleep with my eyes closed, remember what I taught you Ralian"
"Of course, how could I forget"
"Good, but that begs the question, where were you two last night, you both look covered in sticks and mud"
Gale and Ralian just noticing their stuff was covered with mud and sticks, Gale had an embarrassed face underneath their helmet. While Ralian just shrugs it off while trying her best to rub off the mud of her clothes.
"We had practice before we head out" Ralian said
"Yes, just practice, but do you know where the others are?" Gale asked
"I saw Captain Vixen and Mr.Lensharth speaking with some I say twenty trained men, my guess they will be joining us for the fight" "well more the merrier" Gale chuckles a bit "lets go see what they are doing." The three the began to walk down the hallway, but as they walk they all suddenly had a rush of familiarity as they walk. Almost remembering a past memory as they were once a group of three to four from before or after the betrayal. Remembering they once fought all together, defeating many foes to collect their bounty and celebrate it off with cheers and drinks for every successful win. But all that is in the past as there was massive drama in the group and it hurt more towards Ralian since there were some who she trusted and befriended the most and that is Yamma and Hazard still remembering back then where she was once brought into the group by Yamma catching her from eavesdropping them, and to learning many lessons given by Yamma. She felt like a mentor to Ralian who was a rookie at the time in the team while she gather many knowledge from Hazard almost tutoring her all about learning in the new world she had called home. But all that has to move aside as they will soon march towards a powerful battlefield with only a handful of people to stop what threatened their home.
Then on their walk through the hallway they see Ezrael approaching them as he is holding a large bag of equipment and armour along with Moria tailing behind him looking at them all with a smug grin on her face.
"Mourning warriors of the night"
"Morning Ezrael, todays the day"
"Indeed, Captain Vixen is preparing her men towards where we are going, as such" Ezrael looks at Ralian as she felt a sudden uneasiness from Ezrael's simple gaze. "Ralian. We need you and Moria to great to different gates as we'll be spilt and be accompanied by ten"
She quickly calmed down as she nodded "got it, then should we head towards the gathering?"
"Not yet there is something you all will be needing to wear." Ezrael opens the satchel and reaches to any equipment pulling out a black shoulder pad "is that just armour, like mine, but darker" Gale said.
Ezrael shook his head "not quite Azulen, but what you witness here is what was forge with a metal known as ancient obsidian, a strong metal that can negate elemental attacks."
"Well may I see if it works" Ralian says as she begins to let her hands to crackle with lightning "be my guess" as Ezrael then pulls out a shield made of ancient obsidian, Ralian then fires a surge of lightning at Ezrael, as the lightning hits the shield the attack was immediately diminishes "incredible" she said amazed by the shield made of obsidian.
"This shield should be yours Azulen" Ezrael passing Gale the shield seeing the bright reflection from it. Then Ezrael started to pass some amour to the rest, Gale gets an obsidian sword, along with some of their armour being replace with obsidian from their chest plate and boots, Ralian gets boots, and shoulder pads, Yamma gets a chest plate "the rest are for Dani and Venny as such Moria and I are already wearing our armour as well" Moria wearing a chest plate and a shoulder pad on her right, Ezrael wearing arm guards "are you sure just wearing arm guards will make you more safe?" "note I am a dragon, I can withstand many attacks from most elements. However if one is utilizing the powers over telekinesis or a way to control the terrain, then it's hard for me to fight on an easy path."
"Yeah but with that sword you hold, and with that nasty fire breath, its easy for you to regain control, I would know I witness the full blast of your fire."
"Likewise we shall not wait for the Captain, as we need to be present".
They all began to make their way from the long hallway then towards the entrance leading towards the main hallway as they see Dani explaining the plan to her men and already finish explaining it to her men. "Alright everyone once the sun starts to set we'll make our move till then we shall conduct training. For Alvera" Dani chanted "For Alvera" her men did the same, as her men then split off into pairs and started to train with one another to pass the time for the light to dim.
As they left to do prepare themselves, Dani walked towards the others still feeling winded by her speech to her man.
"I see you guys finish" Ralian said
"Yes sorry you guys did get to hear" Dani chuckled nervously as she pants her breath.
Suddenly Venny notice that they were wearing new sets of armour as some covered their body, expect Gale wearing a full set. "Hey what's with the darken armour?" he asked.
"This armour is made of ancient obsidian, it negates elemental attack"
"really, let me take a swing." Venny grabs his dagger and cuts himself activating his blood magic as he clenches his fist. "come on, give it to me"
Ezrael smirked "be my guess, Azulen hand me you shield" Gale handing Ezrael their shield "give this you best shot" Ezrael waiting for Venny to strike the shield as he is getting himself ready as he ready his fist then swing his fist full force clashing onto the shield. But all he could feel was his bones breaking as it pops out from his arm bleeding.
"That actually hurt, so it can negate my blood magic"
"Indeed ancient obsidian is strong".
Venny chuckled, but then looked at his bleeding arm as the arm he punched with started to surge with more blood as his bones fragments started to retract into his arm as it fully healed itself. It surprised everyone even Venny himself "that has never happened before" he said.
"What do you mean I thought you blood magic could heal you. Like all the time from every battle you are in, so why so shock this time." Dani said.
"I have no idea, but it only heals with minor injuries such as slash wounds, muscle strain, and any diseases, but never healing bones"
"I guess there more to you blood magic that an enhancer."
"Yeah you maybe right, so till when we do till the sun sets"
"Just some last minute training. And I suppose you all had seen your notes I gave you"
"Yeah and you told us why can't we say it too each other"
"My guess that the enchantress has eyes on everything, and that is all I have to say".
Then as Dani leave to conduct more plans many for the fight, and many for backup, while the others decided to have some last minute training. Waiting for the light to dim. Hours has soon pass and they notice the light finally coming to fade "alright everyone just light we plan. One half go with Ralian, Gale, and Yamma, and rest go with Moria, Ezrael, Venny and I".
Ralian and Moria make two gateways, one from the tree, and one from the pond, as they began to go through the gate way finally ready to attack the enchantress's headquarters to put an end to this nightmare.
