"Mariselle got lost when she was chasing after this little creature. Caelric went to look for her," Lucien explained.
Just before he finished his last sentence, Celeste heard footsteps coming from behind her. She turned around and saw Mariselle running towards her. She rushed so fast that she almost fell onto Celeste, where Lucien held onto Celeste's wrist and pulled her into his embrace, while Caelric, who was following behind her, reached out and steadied her by the waist.
"Celeste, where is that dark shadow that stole my fish?" Mariselle asked with anger in her voice, as if there were blazing flames that were burning behind her.
In certain areas, Mariselle is very similar to Celeste. They were both devoted foodie, and she absolutely could not tolerate anyone who stole her food, especially when she was hungry.
"Here it is! It's just a small rabbit," Celeste said, explaining the whole story to her. Then she let her look at the rabbit lying in her arms.
