"Celeste, you're awake!" Mariselle's eyes lit up. She was the first one to notice that Celeste opened her eyes.
Lucien, who had curled himself tightly into a ball with his eyes closed, opened his snake-like eyes and looked towards Celeste.
Celeste tried to sit up, but the moment she moved, she fell back down because of the pain. Mariselle quickly slipped an arm behind her, supporting her back so that she could lean against her.
High-level healing crystal cores were extremely rare, and Lucien had none left. He only fed her a level 3 one, so her injuries had not fully healed.
She pressed a hand to her forehead and shook her head slightly, forcing herself to wake up. She turned her head and saw Veyra lying beside her, still unconscious.
