Chapter 59 - Accidentally Met With Another Beautiful Woman. (fix)

AN: Hey guys, hmm, it seems like there's been absolutely no progress here, and my visitor traffic data actually shows a decline compared to last week.

Hmm, this is really frustrating. I think next week I'll decide to focus on working on another novel instead, and I might update this one less frequently starting next week.

But here your bonus chapter.

40 power stone=1 bonus chapter for this week

......

After Allen left, Annette headed straight to the lab where William was working to report what had just happened.

She explained everything they had discussed, including Allen's claim that he could create a serum even better than William's G-Virus.

"Hahahaha…"

William burst out laughing after hearing the report.

"So he thinks he can make something better than my G-Virus?" he said with amusement. "It seems he doesn't know anything about Spencer. He was probably just sent here to handle something minor. And it looks like he has his own reasons for coming."

William laughed again, clearly mocking the idea.

"From what you described, he's just bragging. Sure, he's smart. Getting multiple diplomas at such a young age is impressive. But does he really think that little experience can compete with my years of research? Hahahaha! Seems like he's dreaming too big."

"Do you doubt him?" Annette asked carefully. There was a slight uncertainty in her voice. After all, based on his academic record, Allen had developed advanced technology at a very young age.

William shook his head slightly.

"No. If Spencer—who trusts no one—allows him near this place, and if he's close to Alex Wesker, then he's probably just being used as a distraction."

His tone turned calm again as he went back to calculating data on his screen.

"Just keep him busy," William added. "It won't be easy to kill him directly while his bodyguard is around."

Annette felt a small sense of relief hearing that.

"Alright… By the way, do you need help with the G-Virus? I can assist you anytime," she said, hoping to contribute more and prove her usefulness.

But William immediately shut it down.

"No need. I can handle it myself. Just focus on developing the antivirus," he replied, his tone slightly irritated.

Every time Annette asked about the G-Virus, a small doubt surfaced in his mind.

Could she be reporting to Spencer?

The thought lingered.

Lately… she had been acting a little suspicious.

Unfortunately, those suspicions existed only in William's mind. He had become far too paranoid, seeing threats even where there were none.

Annette noticed the subtle distance in his tone. It felt like he was slowly pushing her away from the research they had once started together.

A small spark of frustration began to grow inside her.

As she turned toward the door, she muttered under her breath, "Is he trying to remove me from the G-Virus project?"

There was a clear edge in her voice.

Without waiting for a response, she left the room, her steps firm and her expression tense.

.....

After Allen stepped out of the underground facility and finally got a breath of fresh air, he couldn't help but complain. "How can they work in that lab so comfortably? The air in there is so stuffy."

"In my opinion, the air there isn't that bad compared to the training grounds I had back when I was in the military. I'm sure you wouldn't last five minutes before dropping dead, hahaha," Karen teased Allen.

"My team and I used to train in sewers with such a foul stench it made you want to throw up every second. I'm sure you couldn't handle that," she said while following him into the car. She continued, "You should start training like I did — you know it could make you safer, and I wouldn't have to worry."

"Ohhh… so now you're worried about me? I thought my guard was supposed to keep me safe 24/7," Allen replied.

"Let's head back to the villa first — there's something I want to give you there."

"Ohh… can I know what it is?"

"Just drive for now, I'll explain when we get there."

Hearing that, Karena stepped on the gas and drove them toward the villa in the Arklay Mountains.

After they arrived at the villa, Allen led Karena to an underground room. There, he took a suitcase from his vault and pulled out a small tube — the same kind previously used by Alex and Jill.

"Mind telling me what you're doing? We're already at the villa," Karena asked, curious about what her boss — and lover — was up to.

"This is my own research. You know what Umbrella has been working on with the T-Virus and G-Virus, right?"

"Yeah… are you working on the same thing as them too?"

"Well, you could say that. But compared to their serum, which can honestly be considered a failed product…" he pressed a button on his bracelet, and the miniature tube expanded until it was large enough for a person to enter. "…I can say my serum is quite different from theirs."

Karena's eyes widened in surprise at the sudden size change of the tube. "So you mean…"

"Yeah — you could say I have a super soldier serum that can give you strength far beyond the average human."

"So this is the 'benefit' you were talking about last week," she said.

"Yep… and don't worry, my serum doesn't have side effects like turning you into a monster or anything like that. Even Jill has used the same serum. So, are you interested?"

"Of course I'm interested — what kind of person wouldn't want more power?" Karena said, pulling Allen into a passionate kiss on the lips.

After about five minutes of making out, she asked again, her gaze drifting toward Allen's crotch. "So… did you use this serum too?"

"Nope… unfortunately, this serum doesn't work on me," Allen replied.

Allen also told her that his yogurt could make a woman immortal. This revelation left Karena stunned, and she began to wonder if she should entrust her daughter to Allen — she didn't want to see her grow old and die.

"Alright, now take off all your clothes and get in there so I can give you this serum."

"Okay…" Karena replied, immediately removing all her clothes without hesitation — she trusted Allen completely and knew he wouldn't harm her. She then stepped into the tube.

Allen, never tiring of seeing her fully exposed, admired her beautiful figure while running his hand along her body. He then injected her with his custom-made super soldier serum, and Karena began undergoing the same merging process that Alex and Jill had experienced before.

....

One week later, more and more cases of missing people in the Arklay Mountains began to surface. Many frightened locals claimed they had seen monsters roaming the area. Some witnesses described human-like figures missing several body parts, wandering around and eating animals raw.

Raccoon City's television stations had already begun reporting the incidents, turning them into the hottest topic in the news.

Fortunately, Allen had already emptied his entire villa in the area and moved everything to his apartment. Of course, he had also securely hidden all his research data inside his special suitcase.

At the moment, the Raccoon Police Department was busy handling the case, receiving countless complaints from citizens asking why it still hadn't been resolved.

Inside the lobby, where the S.T.A.R.S. members were gathered, Alpha Team and Bravo Team had merged into a single unit to investigate the case. Their leader, Albert Wesker, was currently explaining the investigation plan.

"Hey Jill, how have you been? You seem busy lately."

"Oh, hi Chris. Sorry about that—I've been busy helping my husband and my sisters move into an apartment in the city."

Hearing that, Chris felt a faint pang in his chest. He still struggled to fully accept that Jill was married. Even though he had a girlfriend now, he still couldn't completely let go of Jill.

A first love was always hard to forget.

Thinking about Allen having more than one wife only made Chris feel that the man was incredibly lucky. On top of that, Jill seemed to have become even more beautiful after using Allen's serum.

"Oh, so you're all finally living together now?" Chris asked curiously.

"Yeah, something like that. You know, with all these recent missing persons cases, I've been worried about my husband. But thankfully, they've moved into the city now, so I'm not as concerned anymore."

"I see… My sister also said she wanted to visit me during the summer break, but I'm worried something big and dangerous might happen. So I told her not to come this year."

"Hey Chris, Jill—what are you two talking about?" Rebecca suddenly interrupted.

This made Jill and Chris turn to look at her.

"Oh, hi Rebecca. We were just talking about my husband, my sisters, and Chris's little sister. She wanted to visit during the summer," Jill said with a smile.

That smile made Rebecca blush slightly. She remembered that she had already gone on a date with Allen before—and she had even planned their third date together.

"Yeah, but I told Claire not to come," Chris said. "I'm a little worried. I have a bad feeling about all of this."

Rebecca let out a quiet sigh. She knew exactly what was happening in the Arklay Mountains, and she also understood what Chris was worried about.

"I've seen it myself, Chris. There's a terrifying monster roaming around the Arklay Mountains. But my testimony was completely dismissed by Chief Brian…"

She didn't mention that Chief Brian had told her to get closer to Allen.

What the others didn't know was that Allen had secretly bribed Chief Brian so Rebecca could go on dates with him again.

.....

Meanwhile in Europe, Alex Wesker was overseeing Project W. She was reviewing the data of the children who had been injected with the Progenitor Virus.

"What is Team Black Rose doing right now?" Alex asked over the phone while looking at the data of the surviving children.

"At the moment, Team Black Rose is monitoring the Winter family and guarding them from a distance. For training, Miss Athena instructs us every week to face several mutant dogs in the Arklay Mountains."

"Good. Keep monitoring your team, and if you need anything, just ask."

"Yes, ma'am."

The person on the call was a spy from Umbrella's Brodvonski division. Alex had turned him into her loyal follower who obeyed only her. Right now, he was also acting as a double agent for Allen. Allen had requested this, since killing a useful team member would be a waste.

"Stuart, report this data to Spencer so we can start the next phase. And tell that woman to meet Allen as soon as possible. I want to add more security for him."

"Yes, ma'am."

Alex was very pleased with her research results in such a short time. Allen's custom serum allowed her to think more clearly and work more efficiently. Because of that, the survival rate of the Progenitor Virus had increased from 18% to 60%.

She could use this force for her own goals while draining more of Spencer's funds.

Secretly, Alex had also been assembling her nano-tech suit — something that had slowly become her new hobby.

.....

Meanwhile, at the headquarters of the United States federal military, a high-level meeting was taking place.

The topic of discussion was the G-serum being developed by Dr. William.

According to the reports, William believed his serum had extraordinary potential and far greater long-term value. On the other hand, the completed T-virus was already weapon-ready and could be deployed in warfare with devastating results.

The room was divided.

Some believed supporting Umbrella would be the safer choice. Umbrella was a powerful multinational corporation with massive political and financial influence. Making an enemy out of them could create serious consequences.

Others argued that securing Dr. William and his G-serum would give the military a strategic advantage in the future.

There was only one realistic option if they chose William—

They would have to extract him by force.

The problem was that William was currently under strict surveillance and heavily guarded by Umbrella. Any move would need to be calculated carefully.

After a long debate, they finally reached a decision.

They would support Dr. William.

Shortly after, they contacted him and informed him that they accepted his terms. However, they made it clear that a precise and carefully coordinated plan would need to be prepared before any extraction could take place.

.....

Right now, Allen had just come out of the underground laboratory after finishing his task of installing new computers in every room.

He was heading toward the police station to meet his wife, Jill, so they could go home together. In his hand, he carried a cup of coffee he had just bought from a nearby café.

Suddenly—

Someone bumped into him.

The coffee spilled onto his shirt.

"Well… looks like I just ran into some bad luck," Allen muttered, glancing down at the stain on his shirt. Thankfully, it was just a cheap shirt, not an expensive suit.

When he looked up, he saw that the person who bumped into him was a beautiful blonde woman with long hair.

She looked flustered and guilty.

"I'm so sorry, sir. I didn't mean to bump into you," she said quickly. "Please let me buy you another coffee as an apology."

"It's okay. It's just a drink," Allen replied calmly.

But she didn't back down.

"Please, I insist. I don't want to feel like I owe you for my mistake," she said. "I'll buy you a new coffee… and some new clothes too."

Allen let out a small sigh. She was persistent, and refusing her would only make the situation longer.

"Alright. But I'm in a hurry. I don't have much time."

"Great. Follow me," she said.

She led him into a clothing store and started looking through the racks, picking out a few outfits for him.

"Miss, you really don't need to buy me anything expensive," Allen said casually. "The shirt I'm wearing costs less than seven dollars."

He picked a simple black outfit—the cheapest one he could find.

"I think this will do."
