Chapter 2 - Chapter 2- Those 4

The safehouse was silent. Too silent.

Four figures sat scattered across the dimly lit room, each trapped in their own boredom. No windows. No clocks. Just concrete walls, flickering lights, and the faint hum of hidden machinery underground.

Moriyama Kensuki -Seraph - sat upright against the wall, eyes closed, arms crossed. He looked calm, but every fiber of his body was ready to move. Waiting felt like weakness.

Kasugamuo Aki - LUCIFER - sprawled across a metal couch, spinning a knife between his fingers. "I swear," he muttered, "if we don't get a mission soon, I'm going to find something to break."

Kagehiko Shizu - Satan's Chosen Prince - leaned against the doorframe, arms folded. He said nothing, as usual. But his gaze followed Aki. Aki made a face at him, and Shizu raised an eyebrow. "Still going to complain while we're stuck in here?" he asked quietly.

"Ugh, you're annoying," Aki groaned, though his smirk betrayed him. "You always have to be perfect, don't you?"

Flower Killer - Chakure Sakura- sat at the table, arranging metal petals between his fingers. "You two never change," hee said, expression unreadable. "Focus. If this boredom lasts much longer, we'll be rusty before the mission even starts."

Before anyone could respond, the lights flickered.

Once. Twice. Then the screen on the far wall powered on.

All chatter died instantly.

A red symbol appeared — black wings spread wide.

DEVIL ANGELS NETWORK. SECURE CHANNEL

Seraph opened his eyes.

Shizu straightened.

Sakura stopped moving.

The voice that filled the room was mechanical, cold, and absolute.

"New mission assigned."

A pause. Then words in bold red letters flashed across the screen:

"CRITICAL PRIORITY: Enroll into the Devil Angels. Eliminate the organization from within."

The screen also displayed new dossiers.. fake identities the operatives could assume to infiltrate the organization.

Seraph's readout: Takeda Ryo - calm, calculated, nondescript. Perfect for blending in.

Aki's fake identity: Matsuda Ren - flashy, charming, irritating enough to be memorable.

Shizu's alias: Hoshino Kaito - cold, imposing, but unremarkable in a way that demanded respect.

Sakura's chosen name: Fujiwara Hana - delicate, elegant, underestimated by everyone, deadly when ignored.

Aki read his name and groaned. "Great. I have to deal with everyone thinking I'm some boring genius now."

Shizu smirked slightly. "Better than being ignored entirely. At least you'll leave an impression."

Aki rolled his eyes. "Ugh, you're the worst. Honestly, I don't know why we're friends."

"You know why," Shizu replied, deadpan. "Because you're tolerable when the mission matters."

Sakura finally spoke, voice sharp. "We play our parts. Observe first. Learn their hierarchy. And when the time comes… we strike."

Seraph stood, calm and precise. "No reckless moves. Patience is our weapon. Remember that."

Aki glanced at him. "Patience is boring. I don't do boring."

The screen went dark.

The room fell silent..but this time, it wasn't boredom. It was anticipation.
