The jesters of the queen of hearts.

In a fantasy realm, a secret society operates like a deck of playing cards, ruled from the top by the Queen of Hearts, Cordelia. The society forms a pyramid: at the pinnacle sits Cordelia; below her are the two Jesters—one female (Galila, the second jest er, with a happy mask) and one male (Nasreddin, the first Jester, with a sad mask). Beneath them are the Four Kings—Averie (female), Vasilisa (female), Leroy (male), and Minos (male)—who know each other’s true identities, while the Jesters know each other’s and the Queen’s true identity, but most others do not. Each member conceals their true identity with a unique accessory: the Queen hides behind a large crown, the Jesters with their masks (happy and sad), the Kings with smaller crowns, and lower-ranked members with bracelets, necklaces, or earrings. None are ever referred to by their real names within the society. The main character is Galila, the second Jester with a happy mask, a medium-length hair, somewhat masculine appearance. The male jester is Nasreddin, the first Jester with a sad mask, notable for his long, beautiful black hair and an androgynous look. The story is from both the jester's pov. They just got assigned as jesters and at first they only needed to complete small tasks like gathering info or getting a rare item and later they get assigned tasks like killing people and harvesting their heart to give to the queen.
