Mark's POV
"Mateo!!! I'll kill you!!!"
The door slammed against the wall so hard the hinges screamed. The scent hit me like a hammer to the skull; sex, sweat, fresh blood from a new bite, and my brother's scent layered thick over everything. Over her. Over my mate. Over my fucking room.
Violet sat on the edge of the bed, silk robe barely hanging on her shoulders, hair a wild mess, lips swollen. Two marks glared back at me from her throat…his mark still fresh, vivid, still seeping a thin line of blood down her collarbone.
My vision went red. Mateo had crossed the line. How dare he?! How fucking dare him?! What on earth was actually going on? I knew Mateo had the potential to lose his mind sometimes, but not once did I ever imagine or think he'd even grow the balls to fuck my mate, and in my own bed?! This was unforgivable, I wasn't going to let it slide! I'd kill him!!
