Kade's POV
"You don't look okay." Cassian comments are we are at the eastern border, looking at what how he dealt with the rogues that were bothering me.
Looking at the valley that the rogues had set up camp, all that's left is some camp fires that are barely alive.
With the sun rising in the distance, the smoke coming from the campfires rise high into the sky before being scattered by the wind.
"I'm okay. It's nothing." I say to him, unsure if I should tell him what is going through my head in this moment.
As I watch the men that we have gone with scan the area and check to see if there's any signs of any rogues still hiding, Cassian stops and I stop with him.
For a second, I go on high alert and wonder if he has spotted any rogue or perhaps wolves that are thinking about ambushing us.
With the twenty or so men that I've gone with, one might think that it would be the best time to ambush us if they have higher numbers than us.
