Why does it always have to be me?
The moment that I've managed to escape Alpha Ronan, I find myself in the hands of another cruel alpha.
It's been two day since Kade forbade me from training.
And I know that it's not because he's scared that I might be able to defend myself, as this wouldn be the first direct reasoning that could come from him and even someone like Ronan.
His reasoning? He doesn't want me to train.
That's all.
But I know better than this. I know that Kade hesitated when I asked him if he would still forbid me from training if I was being trained by a woman.
This alone is enough that the only reason that he doesn't want me to be trained, is because the person training me is Beta Cassian.
His own Beta.
Call it what you want, but I've seen this before.
I saw it in Ronan, and now I'm seeing the same behavior from alpha Kade.
It's fear.
Fear of me bonding with someone other than them.
