Chapter 3 - JASPER?

JAY'S POV

I was tired waiting for the obsidian six , so i thought to ride a horse.

yes a horsee!!

I used to ride horses back then but then i was too lazy to keep it regular.

This house has a big backyard for horsing. so i changed my clothes wore black leather pants with a turtle neck top.

I made a messy bun and wore my boots .Looking for my horses , i had two horses and their names were "JORDAN" AND "THUNDER" , thunder was older and more stronger than jordan so i used to be with thunder more .

Thunder lifted his head the moment she stepped onto the grass.

Midnight black. Muscles rippling beneath glossy skin. Fierce. Untamed.

Jordan stood behind him, calmer, watchful.

Jay's boots pressed into the grass as she walked toward Thunder. The evening wind carried the scent of rain and freedom.

She ran her fingers through Thunder's mane.

"They thought I'd break," she murmured.

Thunder exhaled, warm and steady.

She adjusted the saddle with practiced precision. Every movement sharp. Controlled. No wasted emotion.

One foot in the stirrup.

She lifted herself gracefully, settling into place like she belonged nowhere else but there.

The city glittered beneath her like something small.

She nudged Thunder gently.

And he moved.

Not rushed. Not wild.

Powerful.

But then,

Thunder slowed.

Jordan lifted his head.

The air shifted.

Footsteps approached from the marble entrance of the penthouse.

Not sneaky.

Not hostile.

Familiar.

The Obsidian Six

Raven.Nova.Benjamin.Noelle.Luna.

The Obsidian Six.

Not traitors.

Not cowards.

Her people.

They stopped a few feet away, giving her space.

Raven crossed his arms. "You were going to ride without telling us?"

Jay tilted her head slightly. "Didn't know I needed permission."

Nova smirked faintly. "You don't."

Benjamin's gaze scanned the rooftop. Protective. Always.

Noelle stepped forward first. "We heard what Section E did."

Jay's fingers tightened around the reins.

Luna's voice softened. "You don't have to handle it alone."

For a moment just a moment the strong front in Jay's eyes flickered.

But she recovered quickly.

He gestured toward the city skyline.

"But you never left us."

Silence fell.

Thunder shifted beneath her, restless but steady.

Jay looked at each of them carefully.

They weren't pitying her.

They weren't judging her.

They were standing.

With her.

No conditions.

No whispers.

Just loyalty.

Jay finally exhaled.

"Then keep up," she said softly.

And she nudged Thunder forward.

To her surprise,

Six more horses were already waiting below the private ramp.

Because they never came unprepared.

The Obsidian Six mounted up without another word.

And as the city lights flickered beneath the darkening sky Seven silhouettes rode together.

Not broken.

Not defeated.

But united.

Section E may have betrayed her.

But Jay?

Jay had her empire.

And she had her Six.
