Yeongjae's POV
Wyatt and Yuri didn't stay long.
After signing the documents and exchanging a few words with Jiho, they excused themselves. Jiho insisted on driving Wyatt back to his hotel and my sister to my grandparents' home, saying traffic would be worse later in the evening.
I watched them leave from the doorway of the office.
Yuri waved before stepping into the car. Wyatt gave me a subtle nod, the kind that carried a hundred unspoken calculations behind it.
The moment the car disappeared down the street, the evening settled into a strange calm.
The temporary tent outside had already been taken down. The Kens were hauling the last of the merchandise boxes back inside the café. The air still smelled faintly of coffee beans and baked bread and pastries.
Inside, the lights were warm and soft.
