Sora's POV
By the time I reached the street, the night had exploded into chaos.
Smoke curled out from the café windows, thick and gray, drifting into the dark sky like a warning signal. My dogs tugged at their leashes nervously while Suzy hissed inside her carrier.
Across the road, I watched the Kens, Yeongjae, Micah, and Soojin, already inside the café, fighting the fire.
Buckets of water, fire extinguishers, anything they could grab. Everyone was moving fast, shouting over each other as they tried to contain the flames.
My heart hammered so hard it felt like it might crack my ribs.
"I already called 911!" Yejin said as she rushed up beside me. "The fire trucks are on their way!"
"Why didn't the smoke detector go off?" Nari asked anxiously, clutching little Yoona and Shaddi tightly in her arms.
We all stood on the opposite side of the road, watching in terror as the guys rushed in and out of the café.
Some were dragging chairs and boxes outside.
