Sora's POV
I was so taken aback that I was not able to react right away. Then reality slammed back in. I shoved him hard in the chest.
"What are you doing?!" I demanded, breath unsteady.
He didn't even look guilty.
"Kissing you," he replied calmly, in a matter-of-fact tone.
"I know that," I snapped. "But why?"
He tilted his head slightly, studying me like I was the one being unreasonable. "Because I want to," he said, voice low. "And because you want it too."
The sheer audacity of this man is off the roof!
My cheeks burned not from embarrassment, but from the way his words hit somewhere dangerously accurate.
"I didn't agree to anything," I shot back, stepping away from him. "That was your decision. Not mine."
I turned, gathering the empty glasses from the table, needing distance. Needing air. Needing my heart to calm down.
I barely made it to the sink before I felt him behind me.
