Chapter 91 - Chapter 93: The Power Shouldering the Future

To reach the back mountain quickly, a four-legged white dragon—something straight out of mythology—soared freely through the sky, weaving between the clouds.

Kenmei stood on the dragon's head, high-spirited, as the white dragon flew steadily. The wind whipped past them, scattering the clouds in their wake.

This was Young Master Kenmei's "mount" for the day.

He was currently riding a dragon, transporting Jujutsu High's two most famous problem children to the training grounds.

Why? Because if Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo got serious, the entire campus wouldn't be enough for them to dismantle.

Fearing that wrecking the school facilities would lead to being "murdered" by their demon teacher, they opted for this current solution: taking the fight elsewhere.

Sitting on the dragon's head, Kenmei experienced unbridled flight for the first time.

And to top it off, this was a terrifying Special Grade Cursed Spirit! A rare sight indeed.

The Rainbow Dragon. Currently the Cursed Spirit with the highest defense in Geto's [Cursed Spirit Manipulation] collection. It was also the same creature Kenmei had dismissed as trash when he was drinking with Geto previously.

Back then, Kenmei hadn't realized it was Special Grade. He assumed all Special Grades—monsters at the apex of Cursed Spirits—were terrifying entities.

Now, it seemed he had overestimated the baseline for Special Grades. The Rainbow Dragon didn't quite meet Kenmei's expectations for what a Special Grade should be.

Still, its golden, ripple-patterned eyes, massive tusks, four sharp claws resembling human arms and fingers, and the terrifying Cursed Energy radiating from its thick body were intimidating enough.

Riding a dragon-type Cursed Spirit into the sky was a magical experience.

Of course, it would have been better without the sounds of grappling and punching coming from behind him.

"Aren't these two afraid of falling off?"

Kenmei shook his head.

This ferocious-looking dragon was roughly the size of a passenger jet capable of carrying a hundred people, so holding two guys fighting on its back was no issue.

Geto and Gojo, already annoyed with each other, had started brawling halfway through the flight. The fight was intense, rolling from the dragon's head all the way to its tail. several times, Kenmei worried they would tumble off together.

"Stop fighting! Don't fight anymore!"

Kenmei felt the Rainbow Dragon dip its head downwards, realizing they were arriving at the coordinates Geto had set.

The dragon descended from the clouds into the lush mountain forest, landing in a specially cleared area in the back mountain of Jujutsu High. Kenmei, Geto, and Gojo disembarked together.

Kenmei had heard them mention this place before. It was reinforced by Tengen's barrier techniques, allowing Geto and Gojo to go all out.

Watching the two bastards gritting their teeth and cracking their knuckles, visualizing turning each other into pig-heads, Kenmei smiled helplessly.

If people knew the "Strongest Duo" acted this childishly in private, jaws would drop everywhere.

"Kenmei, you've already seen Geto's technique," Gojo said with a grin, doing some radio calisthenics warm-ups.

"Now, let me show you mine."

Gojo stretched his body, tilting his head to look at the gloomy-faced Geto. He pressed his knuckles together, making a crisp cracking sound.

"Behold the power of infinity!"

"Gojo, save the talk for when you can actually pull it off!"

Geto sneered, forming a hand seal with his left hand.

Feeling the ground rumble beneath him, the corners of Gojo's mouth curled up.

RUMBLE.

The ground cracked open as if hit by an earthquake. A massive desert worm Cursed Spirit, larger than a twenty-story building, burst from the earth beneath Gojo's feet at breakneck speed. Its mouth, a nightmare of densely packed fangs, made one's scalp tingle.

It swallowed Gojo whole, along with the surrounding rocks. The crunching sound left no doubt that even steel would be reduced to a snack inside its maw.

Suddenly, Kenmei heard a voice:

"Technique Amplification: Maximum Output."

"Blue!"

As soon as the word was spoken, the worm let out a miserable shriek. A scorching blue light erupted from its abdomen. Massive cracks snaked across its body, and soon, the entire Cursed Spirit exploded violently, scattering fragments of internal organs and flesh everywhere.

Amidst the blood mist, Gojo appeared unharmed, floating in the air with a mocking smile. At his fingertip was a massive sphere of Cursed Energy, compressed to a diameter of about five meters. The destructive power within it made even Kenmei stare in awe.

The explosion that tore apart the colossal worm was merely the shockwave from activating the technique. Yet, for the Cursed Spirit, it was unbearable.

Watching Geto and Gojo fight gave Kenmei the impression that Grade 1 Cursed Spirits were just cheap consumables. But this actually benefited him.

[Cursed Energy Absorbed. Points +10,000]

He just got free points from a Grade 1 spirit without lifting a finger.

Kenmei wished Geto would summon a few more for Gojo to kill. He had been eyeing Geto's collection for a long time.

"Useless! Useless!"

With that, Gojo thrust the fully charged "Blue" straight at Geto. The sphere of destructive force devoured all matter in its path, plowing a deep trench into the ground.

Geto stood his ground, neither dodging nor evading. Just as the attack was about to hit him...

A pitch-black, liquid-like unknown Cursed Spirit materialized in front of Geto. Seeing "Blue", it seemed visibly delighted. Its body expanded, opening a massive mouth to meet the attack head-on, swallowing Gojo's "Blue" whole.

"Tch. Still a bit too much for it?"

Geto frowned. Just as the spirit looked like it was about to explode from overeating, he waved his hand, summoning another spirit to kick the bloated one high into the sky.

BOOM.

A brilliant firework display lit up the sky. The shockwave from the explosion blew Kenmei's hair wildly.

Suddenly, a white blur obscured Kenmei's vision. It was the Rainbow Dragon Geto had summoned. Unlike its earlier docile demeanor, it was now feral, opening its massive jaws to bite Gojo.

But this was a feint. Geto also vanished from his spot, charging at Gojo with his hands coated in destructive Cursed Energy.

BOOM! BOOM!

The explosive sound of Cursed Energy colliding with air rang out continuously. Geto and Gojo's figures shifted constantly in mid-air, moving so fast they left afterimages.

Simultaneously, over a dozen terrifying Cursed Spirits surged from black portals beside Geto, attacking Gojo alongside their master.

Two terrifying forces collided like thunderclaps in the sky, unleashing a deafening roar that shattered the air. It felt like they were overturning the entire world!

Watching their young faces, Kenmei murmured softly:

"Is this the power that will shoulder the future of the Jujutsu world?"
