Inside the spacious apartment, Li Jinshu, just back from a work dinner, was surprised to find her mother, Gong Meiping, waiting at her door.
Her expression shifted. She walked over and asked, "Mom, what are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here?"
Gong Meiping said angrily, "I'm here to find you, of course. Don't think you can hide from me just because you moved."
"Come on, let's go find somewhere else to talk."
