One hour later.
Land of Clamor Plane, Central Business District.
Lina stopped in her tracks and looked up at the imposing building before her.
The flow of people going in and out all carried a bright emotional halo called "busy yet fulfilled."
She looked down at her plain clothes and outdated equipment, took a deep breath, and stepped up the stairs.
"Apologies, madam."
The guard Golem at the entrance extended a metallic arm. Its eyes flashed with a warning red light as a cold, mechanical voice sounded, "Please show your identification or appointment information."
"My name is Lina," she said softly, her voice a little dry.
The red light in the guard Golem's eyes flickered. A few seconds later, it turned into a soft green light indicating passage, and the metallic arm retracted.
"Identity confirmed, Ms. Lina. A gentleman is waiting for you in Meditation Room 407 on the top floor."
"He registered for me in advance..." she thought.
