His master's words were like a reassuring pill. Even if artillery fire continued to rage elsewhere, he could finally begin repairing the war wounds suffered by Zone 18. As for supporting other zones, he could forget about it. With everything waiting to be rebuilt, he quickly sorted out the three most urgent tasks in his mind.
First, he needed to repair the workshop's energy equipment and production lines. These were the foundation of the zone; without production lines, nothing else mattered.
Second, he had to restore the operation of the mines. The war had brought the entire zone's economy to a standstill. To shrink his defense lines earlier, he had abandoned the peripheral mines and dismantled most of their core equipment. They needed to be redeployed as soon as possible.
