"Each mansion has twenty administrative points to exchange for official and clerical positions in the Ministries of Revenue, War, Justice, and Works."
"A high-grade clerical position costs one point."
"A Junior Ninth-Grade Official Position costs ten points."
"A Senior Ninth-Grade Official Position costs twenty points."
"Subsequently, you can be promoted through the ranks based on accumulated merit, allowing you to command more resources."
"Each mansion may decide on the allocation internally. Submit your decisions to me before you leave the Imperial Clan Court, and I will then liaise with the Ministry of Personnel."
The members of each mansion exchanged glances.
This was an old rule of the Mansion Scramble. Once it began, all previous statuses and identities were rendered void.
Any authority one wielded depended entirely on the position they held.
Without a position, it was impossible to mobilize any relevant Court resources.
