Wanyun whispered, "Well, you never asked me. Did Father not tell you about this either?"
Hua Yang said with a sour look, "He's always treated me like nothing more than a child. He's never considered me reliable. I can't believe I had to hear about something so important from street gossip."
Wanyun tried to soothe her, "Don't blame Father for not telling you. After all, it concerns Rong Ju's reputation. As her older brother, how could he just casually discuss it?"
Hearing this, Hua Yang was still upset. "Hmph. When it comes down to it, he still doesn't see me as family."
Seeing that she was genuinely angry, Wanyun said, "Perhaps Father simply forgot for a moment. He is, after all, very busy with his official duties."
