「Inside the temporary palace.」
Wanyun couldn't find Ye Yu, so she asked Lu Jingxing, "Where is Ye Yu? Is she still in the hunting grounds?"
Lu Jingxing said, "She failed in her duty to protect you. She's being punished."
Wanyun said, filled with guilt, "It's my fault this time. She tried to persuade me, but I was the one who stubbornly insisted on entering the hunting grounds. If you're going to punish someone, you should punish me. Don't blame Ye Yu."
Lu Jingxing said, "You are the master. You can do no wrong. Ye Yu failed in her duty to protect you, plain and simple. You don't need to plead for her."
Wanyun clutched Lu Jingxing's sleeve and said, "I only rushed into danger because I was afraid you were in trouble. If you punish Ye Yu, how can I ever face her again?"
"My lord, please just spare Ye Yu this time. Don't blame her!"
