Wanyun had been in the palace for several days and hadn't visited Yueji.
It was currently the transition from summer to autumn, and Chang'an City was extremely dry. Because of this, the rouge powder contained many herbs to moisturize the skin, but they weren't very effective.
Wanyun had obtained several secret recipes from Zhong Shanggong for nourishing and moisturizing balms used by the women in the palace. She came to Yueji today to have her staff produce the balm, which she named Snow Cream.
She planned to sell it alongside the rouge powder, certain it would be a huge hit once autumn arrived.
As Wanyun came out of Yueji, she ran right into Prince Jian.
Wanyun curtsied. "Prince Jian."
Jianxi said to Wanyun, "Miss Rong, there's no need for such formalities. This Prince has come to ask you for someone."
Wanyun asked, puzzled, "Who?"
